Yes that last rns was good news. I also happen to be in Marston's As well & they've issued as good rns today and sp jumped 10p eachso it looks like I'm on a roll for once. As I've mentioned already I was very fortunate to have had funds to buy in here when sp was at it's lowest. Mad not to.
I never take broker's views into account myself. I generally tend to follow my gut. Not always correctly but still. I bought in here mostly out of sentiment than anything else, but this seems to be one that I have got right, for once.
Well done holders , JP negative a very good buy signal as I mentioned on monday....keep the play on:-)
People taking their profit on today's surge in price perhaps?
FGP has had a very similar rns today, yet sp is stagnant. Looks to me that I'm on the right horse with SGC.
A nice little boost if all this comes to fruition, and a nice welcome boost to the sp.
Absolutely. I was lucky enough to have had the funds to buy in just over a month ago at this price. One to keep a hold of in my view.
When jp morgan gives their opinion it means its a buy signal :-) their Analyst spend their time at car boot sale..lol
Same again at early doors this morning, more bought than sold but still dropping. Very strange. Tempted to add some more.
To be fair, th e drop in so to this level couldn't have come at a better time for me. As I've said previously, I do quite like this company, and had some savings nature late last month so was able to buy in at a ridiculously low price. I've always liked the level of good friendly service on East Midlands Trains, when I used to use them to get to work, so for me this was the biggest influence in my buying in. And they operate all the bus services in my area. A great company to invest in for me, but of course, this is just my opinion,
* I wish I knew. It seems crazy.
So wish iknew.sounds crazy doesn't it.
Why, when 3 times the amount of shares are bought than sold, would the price go down?
<----- feeling silly now!
Please disregard my last post, it was just something I had overheard and posted without checking. Apologies for my error.
Only thing I can think of is we recently lost south west rail franchise to First Group. Can't think of anything else.
SP nearing 5year low . Something going on , is the dividend safe. Every thing on paper to me looks OK . Any one any ideas .
*great entry price.
I'm still feeling lucky that I was able to get these shares so cheaply. As you say ftsemajor, this is a good, solid company. Greg entry price for any new investor.
Not selling though
I only bought my shares in SGC last Wednesday and already nearly 10p a share up.
*down to luck. Tempted to sell my Lloyds & Marstons shares to add to these.....
Thank you mate. It was more down to pick than planning that I got in @ this price. I had some savings nature last week, so bought in with that. I used to use East Midland Trains to get to work and staff were always nice to me, & Stagecoach have most of the routes where I live. Happy to be in here.
Just in time by the look of it. ☺
I like this company, and couldn't resist at this price. And stagecoach have most of the routes in my area so it'll be nice seeing one of my holdings making me some dosh.
