Well, with the no deal doom theme being peddled, just think of the money bus companies will make shipping all those frantic Europeans currently residing here to airports and ports. Hmmm...
SGC runs buses in the UK, its not going to be affected by the Brexit. As soon the lockdpwn is over it'll fly. The vaccination has started, it's just matter of time now.
UK are going it alone against these 3 bad boys = USA population 350M, EU 300M, China 1.4B
Yeah i'm sure little old UK will be fine.... LOL
BoJo sold the country down the drain so his back bench mates can make a ton.
Meanwhile major Brexit backers are move firms and homes aboard.
Ohh, do not listen this guys theysold and hoping for another deep, UK will get deal, 100%sure and all go up like mad.
LOOK = we are just business people trying to do business, lets just get business done.
PS I hope we go no deal, the sheer near term economic disaster will mean great profits in the longer term bounce.
You also said 68 pence on results!!
its the catch 22 of every company and market.
Do I believe the company is a fundamental infrastructure service = YES
Do I think we are heading to no deal which will have fall out for years = YES
So between these 2 ideas I have to review price in and out to maximise my returns.
I'm a businesswomen doing bsuiness
@castle2012
Look, I'm a businesswoman. That's what I am. That's what I do. I don't want... this. I didn't come here for this. You don't love me do you?
been caught what, making money.
i'm here to make money, the only reason for share trading.
So thank you market for the rise, and now collapse so i can buy in again and hold to make another turn of profit.
I sold my shares @castle2012 the moment BoJo got on that plane to Europe as the voice of no deal grew.
sure I only walked away with a small profit, but I walked away.
Also lets factor in less:
Less EU tourists coming here long term
Less EU students coming here
Less EU immigration that use public travel more than UK citizens
LESS LESS LESS - the revenue on this share will drop
2 things:
A) we now live in the age of broadband and home working. Why travel if it saves business and people money to stay home, so if economy is doing bad this will compound.
B) EU is getting ready for no deal: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-55259144
More people use public transport in economic downturns as it becomes too costly to keep a car for many.
You seriously think a no deal brexit is going to affect a UK only bus company more than Covid has this year?!
If you do your quite mad!

If we go no deal then watch as all national infrastructure stock slump for a while (1 to 2 years)
Opened the link says £1.25 xx
Whitegates obviously doesn’t do irony....
In my opinion, thing that SGC manage to reduce debt so significantly, during such a serious crisis is truly amazing.
It will go up soon, or sooner:)
Kind regards to all patient investors...
And in same SP forecast 9 of the 10 analysts now recommend outperform or buy!!

Absolutely spot on castle, SGC has a history of excellent dividend levels and that will resume when post covid normality resumes!
Financial Times.
Stagecoach. the company is not in a position to pay shareholders a dividend “given the continuing uncertainties caused by the impact” of the coronavirus crisis.
I can't see it has ever been 250! Wishful thinking
Ohh, at least 250...!
