Stagecoach, the UK's Largest Bus and Coach Operator, Partners with AI Platform Optibus to Help Plan the Bus Networks of the Future.

That is Rotala not Stagecoach of course
Its on my watch list but the big spread puts me off at the moment
Anyone got a view on Rotala? It's lagged Stagecoach in terms of price recovery.
Higher highs being set on the dips this morning boys and girls - good signs these of pent up demand going forward - fingers crossed we can breach the pound mark this week
gla dyor etc
I fancy SGC to move on quite well this week, with the quid broken through. The outlook is great anyway, but it’s nice to feel the pot is boiling.
Over 19million people have had their first jab by Thursday, 25 February 2021. That looks well ahead of the government schedule.

I think the biggest plus going forward apart from the vaccine is the commitment from the gov to go all out green - cities and towns throughout the UK are now in a situation where they basically HAVE to get cars out of their city/town which means more and more buses - I topped up here at 90p but my average is around 74p - I have around 20pct of my total portfolio in this share that is how confident I am - looking for 130p before September which is on the cards imo - gla dyor etc
The scientists producing the vaccines have made it very clear they have a product that can quickly be finessed to counter variants that arise (variants being the expected norm in such viruses). That is a massive game changer which means COVID will be kept in check like flu viruses. Life will return to normal and buses will be busy.
Truth is once everyone vaccinated, the lockdown will have to end. It's not possible to keep it going forever.
Do you realize what a Fantastic achievement 85% effective is Barney_B ?
And which variants of Covid does this vaccine that is 85 percent effective cover? All of them or just some..... what about the 15 percent that it doesn’t offer protection too....? Hmmm I guess they keep dying and spreading the virus..
A single-dose Covid-19 vaccine is set to receive approval in the United States as soon as tomorrow after proving safe and effective in trials, showing complete protection against hospitalisation and death.
The Johnson & Johnson (J&J) vaccine is 85 per cent effective at preventing severe illness and 66 per cent protective overall against moderate cases, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has confirmed.
The vaccine produced by the American pharmaceutical giant has advantages over its rivals because it can be kept in a fridge for three months, making it easier to store and distribute than alternatives manufactured by Pfizer and Moderna, which must be kept frozen until use. The single-jab regime means that there is no need for follow-up appointments.

"In transport Go-Ahead (LON:GOG) and Stagecoach (LON:STG) are seen as benefitting most from a relaxation of UK travel restrictions and social distancing requirements, and offer downside protection, as the government has pledged support for as long as it is needed,"

Climbing steadily. Just matter of time before it crosses one pound.
Climbing steadily. Jjust matter of time before it crosses one pound.
Loosing some of the market steam.
SGC at 89.55 from a high of 96.
IAG at 180 from a high of 193
RR at 112 from a high of 115
I would not argue with that thriller40, I would not argue with that :)
This stock won't have any problems reaching £1.30 am not considering selling for less.
I will go with that Carrington, sentiment it is :) I also have no plans to get off the bus anytime soon, and so will hopefully see You when You get off at the £1.30 stop :)
sentiment jodav sentiment - sentiment is all - no need to cross fingers - sentiment on a transport recovery due to the vaccine will drive this forward good style - there will be profit taking along the way of course to shake pi's out but they will not shake me out - will sell at 130p not a penny less - gla dyor etc
Considering all FTSE indexes were in the red today, breaking 90 was a fantastic result. Shows the potential of this share to grow much further (fingers crossed of course). As usual Good Luck all :)
