Up 5%. Maybe something leaked about merger or some great results, due to be released Wednesday. Tuesday morning favourite RNS day for Stagecoach.
I understand that the deadline for this is appropriately 16/12/21.
stranger things happen.. Bus industry is in a state of flux at the moment...
Could it be that Rotala and Stagecoach get together instead? Would make sense.
bought some today. GLA
@Chri55
Also bought back in at 70. Entirely pleased with the price. It was 85 when I sold out on Nov 5. I’m not wishing I held out, as compared to First, which is unmoved, it’s 20% down over same period. GLA.
Bid Tuesday IMO
i hope something happens lol im stuck holding at 92p per share and currently cant buy down lol stagecouch have had it rough this year ??????
Used the opp. to reduce my average… :-) Missed the full drop but they’ll be another bout of silly hysteria soon.
Come on NEX, when are you going to formalise and make an offer??
Tube strikes going ahead in London - Kerching for SGC
@tweedledee96
I think Chris takes himself for a fool thinking it will make any difference.
And boasting about your apparent successes doesn't look good. I'm not sure what folk take from that when they do it.
He called this one correctly, but wins no admirers due to his attitude.
aspers. now that CHR155 has brought back in this stock he will be friendly and ramping this up big time, then when he sells its back to his bull****e de-ramping nonsense, seen this with him so many times. What really annoys me with him is, that he takes us all for idiots.
Moonman........do not be fooled, a Leopard never changes its spots.
Moonman - I bought these originally at 74p then sold a tranche at 93p then sold some at 83p - I have held the remainder, about 70pct of my original holding and will add anywhere near 70p - for me this is a no brainer - a merger creates synergies that will boost overall profit, a non merger simply brings back in venture capitalists to pick up the pieces, either way the share will imo be more than it is today down the track - the share is trading around the same as it was when the vaccinations first started which makes no sense whatsoever - the problem with this share is it is easily manipulated on low volume with loads of shares going through for pennies and the best way to play it imo is to place a limit trade at the price you want it - it will continue in this fashion imo until the big boys start playing, which is when all the pi's have been flushed out panic selling on 5pct drops - I am in this until d day when the announcement from NEX is made next month and will top up on weakness - all imo so please dyor
I sold a third of my stock at 83p and if it drops below 70p I will buy them back - the share just dropped to 71p and bounced, I suspect mm's dropped to fill buy orders waiting around that mark - at 71p the share is around 15pct below what the NEX offer was which even with covid cases as they are, cannot be right
dyor etc
Yeah think you might be right. The UK should fair very well compared to Europe, our vaccination programmes is miles ahead. 94% protection with new booster
It isn't just SGC; a lot of travel/leisure stocks peaked in March and have either traded sideways or returned to November 2020 levels. This sector is being hammered by COVID fears, despite the economy being open and most of the population being vaccinated...
Jefferies and Liberium see this at 110p and 132p, amazed we haven’t had lift off yet.
Any ideas anyone? Maybe just the uncertainty around NEX takeover which would give us sun £1?
Aspers great post, I reckon you’re spot on
Chri55.......cheers you have done me a favour. Looking back on most of your comments on other BB’s you seem to take great pleasure in ****ging folk off for contrarian views. You come across as a public schoolboy twit. Good riddance.
Chri55........Well done on getting your 73p Hopefully you spent some of your paper round money and bought a dozen.
JEFFERIES RAISES STAGECOACH PRICE TARGET TO 110 (90) PENCE - 'BUY'
