Someone asked and no reply

I know they was delayed 6 months. Someone on here said 2 months? Not sure if correct.
Mr EuroNcap was at CES, hopefully to put final touches to it.

All these extensions should be being worked on. Feb 4th next model version showing.
Super Cruise will soon be available to folks beyond owners of the Cadillac CT6. Starting in 2020, Cadillac will begin to offer Super Cruise on every Cadillac model.
GM said last year that the Super Cruise system will start hitting its other brands such as Chevrolet, GMC, and Buick after 2020.
https://techcrunch.com/2019/06/05/gm-is-opening-up-its-super-cruise-hands-free-driving-system-to-more-roads/
Has anybody thought to just ask him?
Based on a 2019 interview with GM....
"....Starting in 2020, the automaker plans to roll out a new model with Super Cruise every six months, going through the end of 2021. That means four new models with Super Cruise in two years....."
We must remember that Supercruise is very limited as it only works on "divided highways". ie unless you are on motorways for a lot of your journey it is not operational.
Well, as Eeyore points out, the guessing games are mostly fun anyway as a vague hint isn't going to shift the SP but it's all a bit of fun as we wait for the contracts to be signed.
Can anyone remember when the date for final details of Euro Ncap reqs. are released? I think it was Feb or March.
I think the Supercruise expanson is limited to some Cadillac models. (relatively low volumes)
All the GM modles are not included as far as I know - perhaps I missed an announcement ?
Esco I hope you’re right. Thx to google. I looked at GM website.
Potentially 10M cars annually.
...makes the monetary value attached to the GM expansion RNS a tip of a huge iceberg.
Historically up to 18 but currently (according to Google) inc Subaru??
GM
Chevrolet
Buick
Pontiac
Oldsmobile
Hummer
Dodge
Jeep
Subaru
It is still quite possible of course across all other OEMs (max 18 via Qualcomm) including previous OEM expansions and other Tier 1s.
Whatif, I looked at all GM brands (7) last night and couldn’t make 40 models/design wins from all of them. For what it’s worth....
Potentially or Actually , that is the question , potentially we are sitting on top of a gold mine , veiled promises about updates on all aspects of the company but nothing in any RNS which can be classed as factual
BUT all the upbeat statements come from researchers on this free discussion board who grasp at any word in any publication that may closely resemble work being carried out by SEE and that is my research and contribution , remember to have A GOOD day
How about - On 4th Feb 2020 GM announce that all 9 GM Business units will fit SEE DMS in 40 different models
The fleet update was a quarterly thing they were trying to do but didn’t really stick to either. So in feb18 it wasn’t a full trading update I don’t think.
I have also convinced myself we won’t get any update until March, anything before is then a bonus.
The aviation announcement is starting to get a bit of a joke now so I’ve even convinced myself that will be sometime before June as Paul said before the end of the year.
People keep saying this is going to happen and that is going to happen only frustrates me when it doesn’t.
I’m cancelling our crossword competition challenge with smart eye on the basis that we’re rubbish and clearly it’s something that smart eye are going to better at...I always knew there would be something!
Numpty
Ignore that, Terry is correct. Previous updates were titled as 'Fleet Update' rather than 'Trading Update'.
Valid point MrBB, looking back on previous announcements we only got a trading update in January last year, from what I can see. Although it would be nice to keep the consistency in the timing of issuing such announcements, there's no obligation to do so.
Mid jan to mid feb window historically so sure be out next couple weeks.
1st we have to crack Colin Da Vinci code
In any event I would prefer an upbeat trading statement confirming we will meet or beat expectations for the year & lets hope PM is waiting for the ink to dry on our first licensing deal before issuing an update.Unlikely to be issued tomorrow so we may have to become comfortable with the concept of no trading update before Interims in March
9 deals & 40 models
9 & 40
9 divided by 40 ....?
