That's right 20%! I didnt realise it was that much. so the way this is going is that SEE, through supercruise will be the standard for taking car automation to level 4 for the forseeable future, losses are irrelevant since they'll be rolled into cost of new cars, so if 19 billion now then a proxy for share price and potential is our share of that, difficult to calculate given complexity but not less than 5-10% given how key hand on and off will be to make it safe viz ncap etc, here an interesting video from tesla failure, though this driver was concentrating tesla had no idea he was

I'm with major on this one
Japan will come later in the year and normal business to prepare

Volvo results out tomorrow
Cur, they bought into Cruise, and it's now valued at $19bn with little revenue and huge losses
Supercruise is made up of various tech
- Cruise
- SM DMS (seems to get the plaudits)
-mobileye (I think /guess)
- etc
Even if nissan are not part of this they are partnered with Waymo!

Didnt softbank buy into super cruise a few months ago?
They’ll need a Japanese speaking engineer, likely to work on customer sites, and liaise with Canberra.
Perfectly understandable and surprised it’s taken this long to get one tbh
Just imho as usual
Taken with the other jobs advertised it can only mean implementation of integration with an OEM infrastructure ie FPGA for specific models with our software, unless anyone has other suggestions, a Japanese win?
What's more interesting is that the job makes reference to travel within Japan and to the USA.
Why is that job in Japan specifically, it could be done from anywhere, specifically Australia where SEE is based, what are they upto?
