I wonder when the market will wake up to the potential!? Seems like we needs bucket loads of patience!!

So if the other suppliers dont sell their systems into the OEM, then Qualcomm should mop them up?
It looks like Qualcomm are ptting together a team to grab the 95% market share!!

That's a great point Terry. They say "19 different automakers have selected the Qualcomm Snapdragon Automotive ****pit platform (which includes as an option Driver and Occupant monitoring"
Most lists of world manufacturers show a top 20, I have found one list that went to 23. I think it's safe to say Qualcomm are working with 19 of the top 20, or 95% market share

Did it say Qualcomm deal with 18 Oems already? How many are there?
Seeing - I’ve also been reading this over and over again for clues as to the nature and source of our next phase of growth. It’s really starting to be clear and hence perhaps the reason why we are not getting details of new OEM wins that the future is this type of plug and play supply via Tier 2s like Qualcomm. How that plays out for contract wins will be different than the past and certainly for Auto we might just have a smaller number of large supply agreements that get called off to the requirements of the OEM. Whilst Fleet might be initially different again the industry will eventually start to embed our Software chip at source and so we could see a similar process with the Qualcomm’s across the auto related sector. ‘Best DMS solution at lowest cost’ has to give us more and more confidence SEE will take a large market share but given the structural changes in the supply chain solution we might just have to get used to less specific news than in the past. ( if that’s possible!!) The volumes will have to start feeding through into the numbers at some point despite the paucity of communication but when they do .......
Cenkos CES note extract ;
"Qualcomm working with Seeing Machines
On day two of CES2020, Seeing Machines and Qualcomm Technologies announced that they are
working together to deliver optimised Driver Monitoring Systems on high-end infotainment
platforms to the global automotive industry. The announcement noted that the companies are
working closely on an optimised implementation of the Seeing Machines’ DMS solution for a
global premium automaker. The technology is being designed to be scalable across different
tiers of ****pit systems utilising the Snapdragon platforms’ efficient heterogenous computing
blocks and Seeing Machines and Qualcomm Technologies intend to support this integrated
solution more broadly across the automotive industry.
Qualcomm is one of the top six major Tier 2 processing platform providers to the auto industry and this relationship adds to Tier2 processing platform relationships that also includes Xilinx andwe believe most likely at least a few of the others: Renesas, Infineon Nvidia and TI.
The announcement with Qualcomm formalises and publicises a relationship that we believe is
probably several years old and we believe this will have a highly beneficial marketing impact for
Seeing Machines. This is because other OEMs looking for DMS solutions will now see a market
ready solution available through a major trusted supply chain partner. Qualcomm is a trusted
advisor to 33 different OMS, according to its marketing materials, In the Qualcomm CES presentation, it noted that it already had a first win for a premium next-gen infotainment design for production vehicles starting 2020.
Additionally, 19 different automakers have selected the Qualcomm Snapdragon Automotive ****pit platform (which includes as an option Driver and Occupant monitoring). and with Tier 1 partnerships including:
Alpine, Bosch, Continental, Denso, Desay, FG, Garmin, Hangsheng, LG, Mitsubishi, Panasonic,
Tencent and Visteon.
Interestingly, one of Seeing Machines’ competitors Jungo was presenting on the Qualcomm stand last year and was not this year. One could potentially conclude that Qualcomm has tested various DMS supplies internally and with its customer base and is realising the strong demand pull from OEMs and Tier 1s for the reliable product ready DMS software solution from Seeing Machines"

Phrases like "plug n play " sounds very mass market to me.

"Qualcomm is building an advanced driving system that is basically autonomous, but still keeps the human driver in charge. The chipmaker is focused on giving car companies a "plug-and-play supported platform." That means a carmaker can pick and choose what tools and features they want built into the car, from warning systems to fully automated highway driving. "
