Smoke and mirrors and best not to compare. As S2020 said, or along the lines of, it's getting to SOP that's the important bit. If you're looking at that purely on OEMs, SEE is or will very shortly be, world leaders and those vehicles, due to the tech, you'd expect pretty difficult to get to SOP.
SEYE has 6 BMWs on the road, for now the rest, even the early ones nowhere to be seen, the early ones most definitely delayed at best.
As for Fleet and Aviation, no comparison. But a bit of a backhanded compliment or a SWF moment?

I just read smarteye annual report and I just dont know why they have 81 models of car? Martin is speaking about developing an aftermarket guardian type box? We have had it for 4? Years now and they are speaking to aviation with a view to having something in 2025? Waaaay behind us, but the leader due to the large number of design wins which they can disclose no probs?

Its all blah, geely plans to have autonomous vehicles on the road, but we all know what that reality is. They have 6 models with lvl 2 autonomous features? Hmmmm with a coffee cup that tells you to stop after 6 hours continuous driving, more journalists printing nonsense they havent even researched properly. Geely and smarteye announced that in 2018 and that was ages ago in terms of how fast this technology is moving, I believe smarteye are waaay behind

” Smart Eye and Geely team up to make semi-autonomous cars
Chinese Geely Auto Group will work with Swedish Smart Eye on the development of a new range of high-end safety systems using Smart Eye’s AI-powered driver monitoring (DMS) technology.
The new systems, in part, will allow semi-autonomous drive to become possible. Geely and Smart Eye will further develop the technology to produce semi-autonomous capable cars in 2019, the companies disclose in a press release. “Geely is proud to announce this partnership with Smart Eye as safety has always been our primary concern. It’s only a natural step that we collaborate with the world leader in AI-powered eye tracking technology to ensure the safety and security of all occupants in our vehicles.” says An Conghui, President and CEO of Geely Auto Group.”
I remember being told years ago we were doing something for every oem, until its in the car on the road its not gonna be in an rns, the swedes dont have rns and i think they are fluffing stuff up a bit, good luck to them and us of course!
This is one of those, I remember we almost certainly won Volvo over SE. Even Viktor said that he was confident it was a SEE win at one point. It was definitely in one of the red-eye reports a while back
Shallwe - The last section. "We have developed groundbreaking eye tracking solutions for clients like NASA, Harvard University, Tonji University, BMW and Geely."
What it does not say is "we are developing " which I am sure they would, if it was current.
...of course that could be 'worked' with Geely!
