S2020 - fantastic list - its getting longer and longer - it resembles a who's who in the field across auto and aviation.
F150 - veoneer slide deck subtle but so profound.
MOUs - i.e. aviation simulators ( civil and military use i.e. RAAF). Given the effects of COVID and the grounding of pilots - flight simulation is an absolute priority to maintain skills and keep abreast of changes in aircraft flight controls etc.
SE - unfortunately, doesn't have a proper "leg" or "pillar" to stand on and is most likely gearing up for a hopeful sale/ takeover.
PM - Tectonic Plates/ Inflection/ Strategic - yes i winced at his use of the word "imminent" and there should be no further fundraise comments. If as some one said earlier it does translate into an upward trajectory - that is cool. Will have to see how things pan out.
SandyKS - waiting for your next instalment.
JC/ TLS - those patents and their translation
The effect of the fundraise triggered an unfamiliar pattern break, and increased after the announcement. That is unusual in the history of SEE. And it even triggered an unfamiliar deluge of posts from the usual green blobs.
Hear the views, dwell on them and form your own opinions as to which way one wants to go.....but base those decisions on the extensive research and knowledge shared on this board and your own original reasons to invest. Review them periodically and decide whether the goals have changed.
Whatever "noise" lurks in the background...its designed to trigger your own investment fears. If you have to listen to the "noise" then do so but always go back to the fundamental reasons for investing and staying in the share - which you do anyway because you are still "in it to win it" ....whatever that "win" turns out to be.
Good luck all.
MrBB, I. thought about them but are they an II or a Venture Capitalist / PE firm?
RNS seems clear its an II "well known US institutional investor"
Great to know we think alike JC. But I won’t last 3 days in trying to unravel patent secrets. Salute!!
There are several high profile US tech funds but my preferred choice would probably be Sequoia .
The right fund has followers & others will follow where a high profile tech fund invests -especially a tiny company (by US standards) which could 10 bag +over the coming years
Seeing20 I tried the alternative method through Andrew Hore to see if he had a heads up from somewhere. No leads:(
Hyms, I had that in mind when I posted the Waymo patent earlier.
Shallwe, I have no idea but would consider it Safety rather than convenience with it's sensor fusion needing to work at high mph speeds , in real time and be calibrated.
By insurance companies offering discount— I’m referring to forward facing camera for after (accident) event analysis, speed monitoring etc.
I hope I made sense...
Seeing, did you miss out BdMS?
It may be the only RNS we’ve got on it but the product i.e a Guardian-derived product in cars (with forward looking cameras) is very much applicable in auto setups. Some Insurance companies already offer discount if you’re willing to have one installed. So I think, the legal/liability aspect of L3-L4 may result in a ‘comeback’ for BdMS or by any other name as offered by SM. Embedded or after market option again perhaps?
If SM continues to play on its strength, guardian BdMS and monitoring centres, we should be able to offer especially in commercial fleet (taxis, delivery vans etc). And probably our own cars to reduce insurance premium and of course safety.
Or we’ll hear more from AV companies...
Klick, a bit more detail to come yet when we get the holding announcement and know who our new investor
I have spent the morning researching "Well known US tech investors" its a short shortlist.
Must admit I was pi55ed off yesterday morning when I first read the RNS, but this now feels very different. The devil was in the detail and the market reacted positively this time.
S20, indeed - you've probably missed some. Very much looking forward to the RNS for no. 27.
Johnny, it was easy to get to 28, just shows how much is going on here.
S20, great list, so much going on with See it's easy to forget some of those.
Anyone spot the one thats predicting the future ?
No point replying to me Smokey2, you are just a green blob
That ol' chestnut...A matter of time....
How long does the company need to make a profit ffs? It's been up and running for twenty years....
Thanks S2020, good to see all of that aligned in one list.
We have so many accelerating threads each one of which is extremely valuable. It's just a matter of time.
Let's see what results bring..
Surely with all of that SEE should be making a handsome profit!
