Sandy, make sure it's a SEE trough (pan intended) one and not a black one! :-)))))
Hi 2020,
Thank you, all's well up here. Hoping same with you and yours - and best wishes to all the other stalwarts of this board (yes, including Steve and Baxter).
As we live out in the sticks, there's more roe deer than people around here (perhaps a slight exaggeration), so, as the weather warms, we might have more chance of picking up a tick than the dreaded you-know-what (touching kitchen table).
By the way, I was putting a lot of thought into how to dodge C-19 when we do venture towards civilisation: plastic bag over the head and you're virus proof - surely! (but not one with those little holes in – safety first!). I'll give one a spin next time I near a two metre pinch-point.
P.S. Do Not Try This at Home (I mean: investing in shares).
Let's not play this game again gents. Of course 6p is a healthy premium because the world markets **** themselves when they realised Michael Osterholm and Bill Gates were right all along. Its not an accurate estimate of our worth and we have had many analysts already claim our absolute bare minimum value, often on a very restricted business scope. We are in the very last stages of something special IMO, and paul has acknowledged this on more than one occasion. Single digits aint happening folks.
S7
Good to see the Docs still letting you have your meds during these difficult times.
If see is fully funded now, 6p would be taking the p***
Sandy, I hope you and yours are keeping well and safe, great to see you post.
I am thinking about yesterdays RNS, imo it was relating to Veoneer and the original $50m+ Ford contract. Just happens to be 10% of the value, feels about right for a license and royalty model.
Today's announcement from Veoneer shows a shift towards Germany and US. I do wonder if this is a ramp up for a much larger Ford contract
No chance sewing

"According to Veoneer's estimates, in the next decade more than 90% of its available market will be for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS)."
Mmmmm!
For anyone new to this board, the reference the guys made earlier to the Veoneer post may sound like, “So what?” However, if you click on the link below (which will take you to Veoneer's CES 2020 video), at just over a minute into the video you will see a baldy-headed guy sitting in one of Veeoner's Volvo demo fleet at this year's CES. He's in the front passenger seat, so is the guy who is demonstrating the car's abilities to potential customers. That is a tiny but very important piece of information – and so is this next bit...
That baldy-headed guy is wearing a jacket emblazoned with a logo which should be of interest to anyone eyeing up Seeing Machines. The man's name is Nick Difiore.
Now, as the saying goes: Do Your Own Research... or should that be: Join The Dots!

P.S. Nearly forgot... then read (in particular) the second paragraph of Veoneer's press release.

The restructuring is interesting - a bit of corporate action.
It wouldn't surprise me (too much) if PMc was beavering away on a potential offer for the company at 6.2p / share.
SEE = Loose change @ 6.2p
Lot of ways of interpreting this. announcement. Does this signal a parting of the ways with Volvo going with SEYE and Veoneer with SEE? It suggests to me that Veoneer have bigger fish to fry in USA and Germany.
Paul Mcglone liked the veoneer post 25mins ago nice one.
Thanks Jimbo here is the other side
Zenuity, the assisted and autonomous driving software development company, will be split into two parts to maximise the potential of Zenuity’s developments to date.
One part is a new stand-alone company, focusing on the development and commercialisation of unsupervised autonomous drive software, and will be owned by Volvo Cars.
The second part will focus on the continued development and commercialisation of advanced driver assistance systems and will be integrated into Veoneer, the automotive safety equipment company.
Zenuity is currently a 50-50 joint venture between Volvo Cars and Veoneer. Under the joint ownership, Zenuity has developed a strong software platform for advanced driver assistance and autonomous driving systems which both parts will now continue to build upon and further develop.
As part of the agreement, Zenuity’s operations and people based in Gothenburg, Sweden and Shanghai, China will be transferred to the new company to be owned by Volvo Cars. The operations and people based in Germany and USA will be transferred to Veoneer.
Volvo Cars’ part of Zenuity will focus on development of unsupervised autonomous drive software that will be introduced in the next generation of cars based on Volvo’s SPA2 vehicle architecture. The new company will remain separate from Volvo Cars and run its own distribution channels.
“Volvo Cars is committed to introduce safe, unsupervised autonomous drive on highways with its next generation of cars,” said Håkan Samuelsson, chief executive at Volvo Cars. “Allowing the new company to fully focus on this development will help us deliver on those ambitions.”
“The new company will develop safe and advanced autonomous drive software,” said Dennis Nobelius, Zenuity’s chief executive. “We believe that in the future there will only be a limited number of global software platforms for autonomous driving. We intend to develop one of these winning platforms."
The new company is expected to become operational latest during the third quarter of 2020
