I guess then we can only look at the contract value as a guesstimate of the value of the F150 contract.
No problem Goshdarnit.
It is confusing and I may still not be absolutely accurate though I think I am.
The version split may not be as easy as I hoped to find.
I got this back from a US motoring journalist I contacted....
"The company does not break down F-Series sales for external use.
It’s proprietary."
Hi Lewbo,
Yes, Veoneer reference the full Volume of F-150 sales.
But I believe that is because they supply the "RCS" Restraint Control System to all of them.
As I understand it Ford only DMS only to the models I listed - but happy to be proved wrong.
Thanks glandore. I completely misunderstood the range! Not the easiest naming convention! I thought the 2.0 was the one with DMS all along. Sorry for any confusion!
Veoneer estimate annual vehicle volume of 690k, which was increased from i think 640k for the F150 DMS.
I suppose this estimate is taken from Ford giving Veoneer there expectations of sales. Of course 690k wont be hit in year one but perhaps year 2 and 3 it could be 800k+....... To make it an average.
Cheers TLS.
I've been trying to find a sales split by version but no luck so far.
I'm sure it is out there somewhere...
Hi Goshdarnit,
Copilot 360 v2.0 does not have DMS.
Nor does Copilot 360 Assist V2.0.
The only version that has the DMS is Copilot 360 Active V2.0.
Glandore: if you check the online configurator for the MY21 F150 you can see that Copilot 360 v2.0 comes as standard on the $35,000 XLT model. It is also available as a $2,600 option on the base XL model. That’s $615 for the Copilot 360 2.0 and the rest comes from having to add the powered folding mirrors (for the cameras). So it seems to be available right across the range.
The bottom model XL is the bargain basement model, the only reason it sells is because the dealers are forced to take some.
It is there to get the headline $34k ish price out in the market.
XLT is the highest seller, but still pretty bare bones. After that it is all about aspirational pricing and American's do love their trucks. So those top end models still sell massive volumes, bigger than many of the DW that SEYE crow about
Yes TLS, the interestng thing for me is how many will have DMS - just the two very high cost versions as standard and as an option for $1,350 if you pay $77k for the King Ranch version.
Also I note it is active only on 100k miles of highway in US/Canada whereas Supercruise covers 200k miles.
Thanks Glandore - I posted a link to the leaked price list back in August. It was suggested price of $995 for the
Ford CoPilot 360 Active Prep package 2.0 (They charge the dealer $906)

Erratum - the Option Version in the King Ranch $77k - not the lariat.
The pricing for the F-150 seems to have arrived in the dealers recently - perhaps just yesterday.
From what I can glean the DMS Option is not available on the three lowest specs XL, XLT, and Lariat.
It is included as standard in the two highest specs "Platinum" and "Limited" but for those you need to shell out in the high $80k's
It is included as an option in the Third highest spec "Lariat" which has a base price of $77k. But only the hardware - the software add-on will be "over-the-air" around Q3 2021.
"FORD CO-PILOT360 ACTIVE 2.0 -inc: Separate payment for feature software required to activate full functionality at that time, Active Drive Assist Prep Kit, Active Park Assist 2.0 Active Drive Assist functionality expected 3rd quarter 2021CY. ($1,350)"
