Sorry state of affairs here but a Good trading opportunity here. I can see this creeping back up to 10p plus.
Not on fundamentals but there’s always a spike in these type of scenarios. IMHO.
Not financial advice…
It is old now , white fox boutique is the brand young kids what .
Hello Munichmann. Are you still holding or did you manage to get out in time?
I hold 300,000 shares here, and I'm losing money (I perfectly know the risks when investing in a listed company). I'm not selling, not now, not if delisted.... I don't mind holding the unlisted shares for several years, and perhaps selling them when I need a tax-shield or something similar... I take the investment here for lost, and we will see.... Keep calm, wait and see...
Hope your all getting ready for the huge crypto rally, you will get your money back from here after 1 day of trading, feel for all who is invested in here, gl.
Well I will be holding as at 89% down it makes very little difference. I will be voting against all of the proposals. I invested in this over a year ago and whilst I fully accept SP can go down and there’s a risk of losing money I don’t agree with being shafted on the cheap by a company BoD.
Not even a one line mention in The Daily Mail today. Nothing it seems, in todays' newspapers; which, given the seismic events that took place here yesterday, does seem a little odd. I fully expected a dedicated article or two, given how long Superdry has graced our high streets; but nothing. Seems it's going to be allowed to disappear, without any fanfare. . . . 😲
US share EJH" If anyone is interested
Who the hell would buy anything from here anyway? I’ve never even set foot in the place.
MIKODX this is not even AIM lol, this is on the main market!
Makes me think main market is actually worse, their RNS are even less regulated than AIM. At least on AIM you have the NOMAD.
This situation has happened many times b4,
It’s normally only catches out ‘the green’
I was caught with ‘Thomas cook ‘
When you sell , keep ONE shark/share in your wallet , (after delist/admin it will remain for years and it will act it has a reminder.
My heart goes out to those who trusted and
fell my the lies of the directors.
You will bounce back

I lost a lot of money in the above about 10/12 years ago but didn’t learn the lesson. Lost some here but not as much.

This was trading at over 30p 3wks ago.
Criminal.
There never was a credible takeover on the table but the panel extended the deadline.
Mountainous - I’m glad you didn’t invest too much over here, it’s always better to lose a little than lose the lot. The AIM is probably the most dangerous market in the world right now, mostly caused by the state of the economy. If one wants to survive in this wild market, you have to get in at the right time and more importantly, get out at the right time. Better to stay with the safe stocks that are financially stable and are generating income. If one is going to play around with stocks that are spending more than they are earning, and have a small MCAP, you have to proceed with the utmost caution. You can’t be dithering when it’s time to get out, always remember it drops just as fast as it rises.
I don't think you can just vote for Option 1......Doesn´t the RNS say you vote....but the Board chooses to do Option 1 OR Option 2.......They will choose Option 2....
Time is of the essence however. If JD gets a sense that investors are going to vote him out, I think it’s safe to say that he will try to protect himself, just as he has done with the restructuring process.
All imo.
Some of us thought to do this with CINE, but the CEO was more sly. By the time we saw that the CEO was screwing us over, it was too late.
Here there is a chance I think. I think that because it’s a major motion, it would need 75% approval, so just 25% to vote against will be sufficient if that is the case.
You need to try and find out who the big shareholders are, perhaps look at the latest annual report and check TR-1s after to see what the institutional shareholder base looks like.
If there are only a few, it may mean that there is a lot of ownership between the small fry investors, like ourselves. That is what I understand.
Hi Sheltie
Well if it’s such a good deal to go private
Then why won’t we get another interested party who comes in and offers a better deal
Let’s see what happens
Hopefully someone /other bidders will put spanner in the works
You'd be better served in my opinion, going down to Cheltenham (with some large angry placards) and protesting as severely aggrieved shareholders, outside the Superdry Plc Headquarters. You could well get local press coverage and perhaps even local TV coverage too. From there; who knows? Just an idea, but you would need to be there in shareholder force. . .ATB 😃
We can only try . odds are stacked against us as Julian is trying to get this for cheap.....
worth trying as it is the right thing.
it might motivate others to join and improve our chances.... i will not quit....
Hash
Are there enough of us though to cause a problem to the amount of votes he needs ?
Thoughts on how the larger shareholders might vote ?
Peel hunt are acting as advisers so they will vote for it I presume?
I lost last week with superdry i put .my last bit of cash in woodgroup up 8% over the week.
Still take a lot to claw back but there is options
Gla hope you get some cash back either way.
