Violindog,
Your Sunday 18.47,
Absolutely. An exit target for 50% of my holding achieved at 100p/share would be more than I have ever dreamed of. as to your further sentiments couldn't agree more!
Well said Sir!
That would be an amazing achievement Violindog.
Who knows how far we can go, who knows how long it will take, and who knows how many of us will still be around.
The most I got to holding wise was 254k an amount that seemed ridiculous on my my budget when I bought in at 38.8p, not the 41p I thought. Circumstances led me to sell 40k at 27.7p so I doubled my investment on that, and I will sell 20k if we get to 35p-40p still holding 190k.
I dream of £1 too, I dream of seeing a Scancell vaccine finally approved for cancer, and I dream of hearing first patients dosed. There is a long way to go, much news to come, many inflection points, and hopefully great data from trials. Could we see a £1 well I will be here praying and assessing our hopes till a few dream do come true.
As life has worked out £200k would be a significent sum to me and my Partner as we glide through the Autumn of our lives.
Good luck to all of us this coming week, as we enter Q4 surely news will be very near. A nice tiny and consistent rise last week, noted.
Goodnight.
Loch.... you are most likely correct in your targets...just that I gave been in SCLP so long and through almost every fund raising I'm "exhausted"... £1 is my initial target...for partial exit. Perhaps I should have some more enthusiasm for the future but after this long I would honestly be happy with £1 , hold afew for a bit more profit , and not begrudge anyone who may hit the legendary £8 . A treatment for cancer I helped to create in my own small way would be my delight.
Here I was thinking I had set the bar too low, because we should be looking at the future value and good will that anyone would have to pay to keep Lindy and her team on board. The Scancell team should be rewarded in my view.
So all in all, I'd be even happier with something above £3.50, which would still enable the new owner to make at least 7 new fortunes if the cancer types are split out because they may want to accelerate market release if they can get individual approvals.
Loch...oh a pound would suit me just fine , I'd sell half and see if more was achievable with the rest.
Psychologically and realistically £1 does seam to be within reach with trials starting... that is why I have perhaps set the bar too low.
So ...Next week for SA trial start ? Anything later I would start to get the gitters.
Moditope... any educated guesses for trial start ?
I would not mind at all at £2/share. (Smiles)
Biontech, have made a fortune with their vaccine and have a secured revenue stream ahead. I don't think one shareholder would begrudge them snapping up SCLP at a healthy premium.
I hope the timing is accurate.
New Scientist
A cancer treatment that uses messenger RNA to launch an immune attack on cancer cells can completely shrink tumours in mice and is now being tested in people.
Messenger RNAs – or mRNAs – are molecules that instruct cells to make proteins. They have risen to fame with the roll out of mRNA covid-19 vaccines.
BioNTech, the German company that developed Pfizer’s mRNA covid-19 vaccine, is now testing whether mRNAs can be used to treat cancer …

This is not just a timeline.... This is a SCANCELL timeline....
:-)
Hi Violindog. The significance of FPI in my mind is highlighted by Bermudas post on other forum. It is not only signifies the physical part of the trial has started but also the manu of SCOV2 can be assigned a more accurate timeline
Estimated start date September 2021.
Perhaps we will see recruitment start next week
Doh...right near the top with green background.
https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT05047445
I can't work out where it tells you about recruitment status for trial? Or maybe there is another link?
Just wondering about first patient dosed etc. Would SCLP wait for the trial (s)green light and then get all the systems in place ...or take a punt and get everything set up beforehand ? Guess as long as the vaccine/ moditope1 is manufactured and ready then it shouldn't take too long either way.
SA recruitment , is it "open" yet.. does anyone know? Looking at the eligibility criteria... perhaps it's the requirement to abstain from sex for the trial duration that's the issue :))) : )))
Joking aside, if it's for 20 volunteers they should be able to get them all jabbed in one day .
Modi1... well there must..unfortunately...be a suitable pool of patients.
