The Arms Holdings model is based on having an IP portfolio and licensing it again and again isn't it?
why non exclusive ?
exclusive is the target not the platform
Inanaco,
1) Dilution - agreed, discussed to death
2) Funding - always was a perfectly valid subject for discussion, only now some may be happier to discuss than before
3) Risky - never rule out risky, the best bbs are those where risk is discussed openly and honestly
4) Arms Holdings - one to discuss when/if Scancell sign a non-exclusive licensing deal
5) Kate Cornish Bowden is doing very nicely for herself
well we can rule out dilution as a discussion !!!
more time spent on orange juice than Spain took to grow them ...
can rule out "Risky" .... what does that mean ... keep an eye on Risky ... ? you buy or you don't there is No Risky half in half out share ...
Arm Holdings ... mine
.... Kate Cornish Bowden ... wonder what she is up to ... legs discussion ?
lol
Bunsie,
lol I should hope not. My only ever attempts at day trading were 2 stocks bought on the recommendation of a close friend - both a disaster and never again.
I'm coming from a slightly different angle and thinking more of those who rarely post or who may be new to Scancell. The posts on the science today have been excellent and am sure they're appreciated by all but I'd hate for anyone to think that it's necessary to understand the science at that level and in that detail to get what Scancell is about. Nor would I want anybody to be put off posting anything unrelated to the science.
There are plenty of legitimate topics for discussion that may be unrelated to the science but are vital for Scancell's success and I'm sure would be welcomed here. I think you'd probably agree with that.
Evening Ruck,
There are about 10-15 AIM stocks which I am in and probably double that which I am familiar with and I can say this is the only board where the “Science” or “ Technicals” of that Industry form the dominant subject matter on that board.
There are many technical experts in many of these shares and they do highlight technical aspects of the Company and its activities but they never debate it to the extent it is done here.
Purely an observation
Evening Bunsie,
I have the same question as Bermuda, what would you class as day trading garbage. I totally agree that it is fantastic we have such knowledgeable people as far as the underlying science is concerned. It would be wrong, in my opinion, to think that this is all that matters as far as Scancell, its investors and prospects are concerned.
We may have the “best” science in the world, but this in itself is no guarantee that it will translate to approved products or that even if approved they will be the commercial success that we hope.
This is a risky investment and many things can go wrong, not just the science. This is a long journey and there will be many obstacles along the way, some we will not have envisaged.
There may be some here that are day traders. I don’t even know what that means. I have had a large sum invested here for eight years and I only want success for Scancell, not just for financial gain but for the benefit of those suffering from melanoma, lung cancer, breast cancer, ovarian cancer and others. As C7 said yesterday, we need to put things in perspective.
I, along with a growing number, aren’t afraid to discuss any aspect of Scancell, good bad or indifferent. I would class Bermuda and Burble amongst that number although it may be inappropriate for me to speak for them (or they may want to distance themselves from me!)
So genuinely, if you think there are topics that legitimately come under the heading “day traders garbage” I would be glad to hear them. I can guarantee you an impartial consideration and honest feedback.
Berm,
Nothing directed at you TBH
Bunsie
Bunsie,
Interesting comment - what topics would you count as day trading garbage?
Ruck,
What interests me more than anything is that Inanaco and Burble (and others of course) could provide an amazing contribution on the science relating to Scancell going forward, this is IMO essential as without the science contribution we are left with is day trading garbage.
Just my opinion though

talking of Curries ... i tried this place https://www.thai-food-online.co.uk/collections/thai-green-curry-pastes
I tub made 4 frozen meals ......... so spicey i had to dilute each meal by two with a tin of tomatoes and it still makes me sweat and it gets stronger after defrost ........ wow ! what a Taste
Was that dennis the menace or desperate dan, can't remember, haha
I read the Beano as a Child ...
Its really important that investors when looking at Scancell consider secondary effect .. by flipping the environment of cancer to pro inflammatory you are also bringing into play other active members of the immune system
so Avidmab could trigger an adaptive immune response ............... ie The MAB never meets the t cell but activates it via the Molecular damage it causes ...
Inan,
Where do you find this info and can you expand on it, I am hungry for information and a nice curry tonight though!
ATB
Bunsie
Avidmab also can utilise "DAMPS" ... to spark an immune response by releasing DAMPS into the environment
PAMPS and DAMPs both activate similar Pathways of the Innate Immune system
""""Once these PAMPs bind to their receptors, a signaling cascade is triggered that, among others, leads to the activation of cells that initiate a potent acquired immune response."""
Bunsie,
Agree, good to be discussing Scancell - thanks Burble, Ray, Inanaco and all.
YES, sorry I was getting confused with IB.
Let's see what our potato harvester says :-)
Afternoon,
Just catching up.... what a wonderful BB today, long may it continue with Inanaco & Burble and others posting on the science.
Very much appreciated on my part, thank you
