Sorry to chip in on this thread but, Knowlesi, you do jump in with both feet claiming to be the defender of the 'soon to be duped' newbies.
I posted at the time the shares were 5.0p each that they were extremely cheap and it was a no brainer to buy as many as possible and you popped up then saying that team ramp were trying to lead the gullible astray.
So there's the problem you just argue the opposite of anyone who is Scancell positive. You are the boy cried Wolf, over and over again.
As GF123 says, you are so predictable .
Chester.
Delusional by holding onto my shares? Let’s see SK. Think I’m quite happy with that decision and have been for many years. Hence the number I hold with the average I have. Then again I’ve never aligned myself to the ASStute. I prefer to simply invest and make money from my own decisions. It has a erved me very well to-date.
SK. Did you read my post. Think I made it clear many have said tonight you can’t be trusted. Tell me. Why do you think that is? Given you are so open about your relationships with posters on here. Maybe having met you they easily work you out. So SK can we expect a lovely little blog article tomorrow from a certain membership club?
Have you got your halo on? SK LTHs understand what you are doing. It’s like an action replay. For the record Im not asking to be trusted. But as roses and many others have pointed out tonight you certainly can’t be. Just my opinion. ATB
My god you guys are carrying some heavyweight baggage - up or down tomorrow all I want to see is a successful second generation vaccine with 100% efficacy.
That’s a bit rich know lessi, you have claimed to be the arbiter on here for years !
Now the share price isnt going your way, you’re lashing out at anyone that will reply.
Doesn't matter if its Bio, green tech or mining, there is no reward without risk. Who would have though Novocyt would have gone up by so much and now the crypto co's....
Got to be in it to win it.
A strange way to care for newbies by telling them they have made a mistake to believe in news about this company and that the value of their shares is about to go down because a presentation that revealed nothing but that this is not just a covid play but a is serious little bio with big pharma pipeline filling potential that can use its years of skill and talent to rise to the covid challenge all backed by a serious American investor that can see the value.... ahh well
Ruck. True. But we also know it will go back up. And some more as news hits. Feel sorry for some new investors because for me it’s easy to read. Less so for others. Like I say tomfoolery.
GF,
"Seen it all before. "
Yes, I'm sure we are both old enough and ugly enough (speaking for myself) to have seen it all before. Ironically, I wasn't that disappointed by today's let down. I was not expecting anything new to be revealed and therefore no RNS necessary. As you say, we've seen it all before.
The SP will go down tomorrow as predicted by Knowlesi - we've seen that before. And, he will be pilloried for telling as it is - seen it all before.
Ruck. I’ll get you a shovel so you can dig deeper if you like? Seen it all before. But I guess newbies may fall for your tomfoolery. ATB
GF, my last post was to your last but one, only just seen this.
I don't think people are spreading fear and doubt. I think given the nature of the investment, fear and doubt is just there. Who of don't have doubts in terms of whether the products will be successful in trials. Even if they are, will they be commercialised? Who doesn't fear they may not loose part of their investment?
It was an investor presentation...as such it did its job. If you were expecting hige news, that wouldn't come via an investor presentation and this has never been a company to spread promising whispers where they know nothing is ever guaranteed. After Richard Goodfellow's 'sell for many multiples of the current share price' nonsense in Frankfurt all those years ago, I'm more than happy to receognise what we have just seen for what it is. This will get us all there in the end...and the latest events have served only to add to our offering and prove that the science can be prolific.
Ruck. Who is saying “ the Company's sluggish performance, lacklustre presentations and failure to commercialise some pretty good science”. Oh yes just a few. Doesn’t that one statement tell us everything we need to know. How do you know they are not about to close their first deal? Oh yes you don’t. ATB
GF,
"They simply want to buy more at a lower SP"
Well simply not true. I'm sure there are many like me that don't fall for the unbridled optimism hawked around from week to week. I have my fill of shares here and do NOT want to see a low SP. what I'm sure most LTHs want is a MUCH HIGHER sp so we can take some profit.
Please don't blame the Company's sluggish performance, lacklustre presentations and failure to commercialise some pretty good science on people wanting to "buy lower". I'm afraid those are a figment of your overactive imagination. If such people exist, they don't need to spread negative thoughts, merely to keep quite and wait. ATB.
Ruck. Most LTHs have a decent average. Mine is just above 11p. So having put hundreds of thousands in I’m very happy with my position. As I am sure are you? Question is isn’t that why we are all hear? To make a something. Yet some don’t attempt to spread fear and some do. As have clearly been stated nothing negative was said. Just my opinion. ATB
"The trouble with some people who contribute to this BB is their impatience."
Is it really too much to ask for a small return on a substantial investment over nine years? Lol
Paul87. Well said. But you must realize there is an obvious reason some post the way they do. They simply want to buy more at a lower SP. Some have been here long enough to see the signs and of course recognize the posters when they post what they do. That’s why it’s important to pull some of these posters up. And I too see that we are moving to the end game. Question is when will big Pharma play their cards. That’s the unknown quantity here. ATB
I'm sorry but to compare Cliff's presentation to the 2015 AGM is way offside. This company has advanced light years since that awful day at East Midlands Airport. The trouble with some people who contribute to this BB is their impatience. This was billed as an investor presentation and that is exactly what was delivered although most (me included) would say that there was no new news. Scancell clearly can't provide any timelines regarding the development of the potential COVID vaccine but the company are about so much more than this. COVID is a side line which as we all know pales into insignificance when compared to Moditope. If the share price was to fall tomorrow it will probably be because of the traders that we have attracted over recent weeks and if I'm honest I won't be sorry to see the back of them. This is an investors share - most of the LTH's on here, like me, have taken part in all the open offers because we recognise what this company has. The turning point has undoubtedly been Redmile's involvement. To those who are doubting what we have do a bit of research into Redmile and the companies they have historically invested in to see how important their investment actually is. Should the SP drop a bit tomorrow then so be it, it will gradually recover and for those of us that have been here for years waiting for the end game, well that is a lot closer now than it has ever been. I do hope that LD doesn't read some of the garbage that is posted on here because some of it is completely disrespectful to the fantastic work she does. That's it - rant over - disappearing for another few months!
