The threat here is Not the capital Markets funding Scancells trials ...
Its the capital markets Closing Dec 13th .... if Mao Zedong Red Book opens ....
Crumbs
no they didn't ....
they just signed up to work with lindy .... Genetech, BioNtech, CRUK, ISA Pharma, Avidmab, Karolinska Institutet
How many have signed up with Knowlesi in his "latest project" short term play investments ... ?
Things such as that do not go un-missed but certainly, up to now they go un monetised....no third party said wow you went from 70- 100% sign right here and accept this £100million upfront
if somebody could string a sentence on the failure of the science then it would explain "delay" .....
until that day ...
ATB
Crumbs ., Scancell "invent" .... as such "time scales" can only ever be approx. and the best part
they have never failed in "outcomes" ,..
it seems the ""expected"" ......... get "surpassed" on the stuff that really matters !!!!!!!
moditope from 70% of mice to 100% of mice .. is an example ...
What queue lol.... have you seen scancells timelines? they are in all their presentations and not one has been met not one! In theory modi1 trial is over now as is SCIB1 combo .... reality being far different... so we are waiting in line for it all to happen...people get tired people get disheartened that is just human nature especially when it is always jam tomorrow...Yet we know the potential prizes here could blow that history away in a few RNS's it is why we wait.... Anyways looking forwards to anything we get from LSX presentation
to many just want to moan ... because they feel they called it wrong, indeed "Knowlesi short term play " "scancell"" has left him under water ..
rather amusing .. considering what he posts now ... "the Expert with a Loss" ....
And this:
Successful regulatory Scientific Advice meeting held at PEI (German equivalent of MHRA);
preclinical ‘Gold Standard’
I do think with also all the conferences Lindy is doing that the ground for H1 modi trial is being set...which is why I believe it is going to be as I am told every time I ask scancell on track ..... It also has the potential to be one and if showing what it may the most exciting and transformative trials in immuno onco history with it expanding into up to possible 14/15 targets..... obviously lots more news to come on that trial .... will there be a combo branch with chemo for instance (possible)
what queue are you stuck in Crumbs ?
2 for the price of 1 "fish and Chips" .... at larry's .
people moan because life never quite fits into there expectations ...
When you're stuck in a queue its natural to moan in fact it's a very British thing to do lol... but most of us are waiting and most of us know something of a positive nature can appear anytime here... which is where we disagree with knowlesi ....
? Request for MHRA Scientific Advice planned Q4 2019 as prelude to Clinical Trial
Application for First-in-Human study
anyway your all having a moan .. with No idea at all what is going on ....
so is this the Auditions for XMas, Scancells own Walking Bill Board Man ............ " the End of the world is Nigh"
Knowlesi ...
"""but it's not a play for those looking for short term returns.""""
what is .... ?
Lets have Knowlesi short term investment plays .....
i am so excited
Yes, they should have had an earlier plan B... what bugs me most is they came up with a plan B when they had to but they kinda made out it was not a plan B due to plan A not working out at all !!... I prefer them to be openly honest with us...
As for delays ... yes we have had to get constantly used to them however it is not due to endless work going into enhancing IP it is often the unexpected or outside forces... this is why and I tentatively say it... I think modi1 will meet its now timelines.....The thing that may affect that is funding but again I feel if they have to Vulpes will step up there... I however hope there is no need as funding will appear from wither Avidimab deal/s or the TCR program nailing a deal or....If they mange it and Lindy approved of giving some moditope IP away (I'm not sure she is at this stage willing it being her most precious baby) we get a modi1 trial partner
I, for one, have consistently said "expect delays".
When doing something new, there are always the unexpected problems to overcome.
With Modi1 is was manufacturing difficulties.
With the BionTech collaboration it was HSE issues around creating a viral vector.
With SCIB1, we have the FDA not approving Trigrid 2.
With SCIB2 we don't know what is causing the delays
Of these, the SCIB1 delay is the only one that annoys me. The lack of a fallback plan, when quite early Scancell knew there were problems getting Trigrid 2 approved is what bugs me. This is not a hindsight issue, It should have dawned upon Scancell that they needed a plan B once they knew Trigrid was not approved. Any fallback plan did not involve extra research or development so it would have had minimal effect on timescales of other projects.
With the SCIB1 combo trial currently stalled, one of the following 3 look more likely to be the breakthrough in SCLP's fortunes
a) Start of Modi1 trial - hopefully this will be multi-centre from day 1 and NOT delayed any further
b) The Biontech collaboration. Delayed by HSE issues but presumably back on track
c) The Avidimab collaboration
All of these are being worked on by Scancell.
I have always thought that the Modi1 trial is the most important of all of Scancell's activities; past, present or future.
It is wider in scope than the SCIB1 combo trial and it should be easier to recruit patients. There is no issue about paying for CIs and it has the backing of the CAB. Presumably the CAB will also advise on the best centres for the trial.
All IMO.
But we know of 2 pharma/bios at least taking an interest in scancells pipeline BioNTech a now $4.5 billion mcap NASDAQ listed bio and another with 'one of the major players in the antibody development field'
plus we have tangible evidence of Genetech interest from Ira Mellmans involvement in project blueprint..
No guarantees anything will come of these but it only takes to first one to get in.
I gave a reasonable opinion on Sclp It was almost always taken out of context and seen as a neg. I gave up posting here. I'm Invested In Sclp and I don't trade the share. I believe In the Co. What I get very hard to believe Is that No Pharma have taken up SCIB1. Surely with the results and the treated patients progress there was a great opening for Any Pharma taking an Interest to enhance their pipeline. Beginning to wonder do Pharmas not want to give what they may deem any Upstart AIM Bio Cos any recognition for their proven efforts In treating cancer successfully. That Is my main concern. Seems all about money always. Lets hope some Pharma take a second look at the Small Bios and give them and Mankind a chance. Appreciate a lot of the very polite Posters on this BB. AIMOO
