Hi Paul,
Apologies for the delay in responding. Keith Flaherty remains supportive of the SCIB1 programme and will continue to have an involvement subject to the IND of course.
Best regards,
Cliff
Pretty clear..................
C7 08.14 - "And rather good news from CH yesterday in regards to Keith Flaherty leading the U.S. arm of the SCIB 1 Combo Trial IF we ever do get the IND through. Yes that bit of news boosted my confidence again in SCIB 1".
You do sound quite 'keen' there C7 . . . . Good on yer !
Bermuda - I don't think myself there's much comfort in 'involved' as 'not much to be involved in at the moment. Let's see what happens if/when we get an IND approval. Thanks all.
Chelsea,
I think there is some confusion here regarding interpretation of wording.
From your earlier post:- "good news from CH yesterday in regards to Keith Flaherty leading the U.S. arm of the SCIB 1 Combo"
My interpretation of your comment = CH had confirmed Keith Flaherty would be principal investigator - how else could he lead the US trial?
Not to worry, as you say, at least he is still involved.
The Wednesday, absolutely, you are not being negative and I am not being overly positive. I just wanted to know if KF is involved in anyway now as four yers have passed, he has seen many trials data, and IMHO involvement in any way can only be a positive thing..................if we ever get the IND, lol. Good to hear from you again. BTW
Morning Bermuda, well I have read it a number of times since seeing his reply yesterday, I am not saying he will be Trial Investigator nor obviously is CH, just that he will be involved.. AT this juncture there is no impending trial so to appoint individuals for specific roles is not going to happen. It just shows me anyway that Scancell and KF are still having discussions over this trial and he is still interested.
Bermuda, it was your post a few weeks ago, saying we are not even sure if Keith Flaherty will still be involved in any U.S. arm at all, so that itself prompted my mail to CH. So IMHO from not being sure if he even wanted involvement we now know...................from CH himself......................""Apologies for the delay in responding. Keith Flaherty remains supportive of the SCIB1 programme and will continue to have an involvement subject to the IND of course.""" Now to what extent we will have to wait and see, when the time is appropiate. My comments as to KF in regard to being PI was the heading of my question, only, as you can see.
Hello The Wednesday - is that inspired by Sheffield Wednesday ?
Re. SCIB1 Combo USA arm - we don't know if the IND application has been made yet and indeed the BoD said they would not be advising us of 'application' but would be advising us if/when IND granted of course.
CH implies KF is still interested in Immunobody but if/when we get the IND, I'd guess the role he takes will be determined by his commitments at that time.
Never mind - thanks C7
Of course...as it is no longer a US trial..at best it'll have a US arm which KF will be involved with
Hi Chelsea,
without wishing to be too negative I have to say I agree with Bermuda. When I read the response you posted from CH my interpretation was that there was nothing there to indicate Keith Flaherty was leading anything. In fact, it comes across as though he has probably taken a step back and any involvement he has will probably be minor.
All down to interpretation of course.
GLA
Chelsea,
Thanks for taking the time and trouble to report back with CH's reply.
I think we have to be careful how we interpret his response - have another read. We know he always chooses his words very carefully and all he actually said was that Keith Flaherty will 'continue to have an involvement '. 'An involvement' what does that actually mean? Could mean anything at all. If KF was going to be a study investigator for one of the US sites then why not just say so?
For the first time in awhile been watching the early morning news stations, and it reminded me why it will be even longer before i look again.
Will there be any trades today? Well 3 MMs on the bid at 5p, taking 50k at 5.025 and up to 150k at 5.02., so will see how that develops.
And rather good news from CH yesterday in regards to Keith Flaherty leading the U.S. arm of the SCIB 1 Combo Trial IF we evr do get the IND through. Yes that bit of news boosted my confidence again in SCIB 1 as four years have passed since he said he wanted to be involved, much has happened in Immuno-Oncology in that time and not withstanding in his own personal success story too. Still keen?? Well so am I and grateful to CH for his comments.
