I think we have all misread things at some point, even if not recently.
My son also thought he'd been given the full allocation yesterday. He was already buzzing from a job interview with a firm who are based near where he is relocating next month.
As mentioned before, I've also said I'd be delighted with any I do get. I was trying to figure out the numbers late last night for myself, but decided sleep was more important.
Apologies. My inexperience has led to me misreading things. The broker has just divided the description of my excess into the 93 per cent I applied for and the 7 per cent I didn't for want of cash in account. So I am actually still waiting to see what I have been allocated excess wise.
Until the full story is unveiled we are just clutching at straws, so let us all just wait until Tuesday and the Open Offer is past at the General Meeting. We will then have the full facts to debate.
For me an Over Subscribed 'OO' would show just how many private and corporate investors are out there biding their time and wait for the 'Game Changing' data from SCIB1 / Keytruda and later the update from MODI1 early data results. We will see an increasing belief in Scancells IP as the science theory changes into science fact.
AvidiMab is just another possibility with Clogs On.
Covidity is platform nobody would have thought possible until April 2020, a Cancer Vaccine targeted at defeating a Virus was off everybody's radar, life is stranger than fiction.....
Chester.
Afamaman.
You were one of the 4 posters I referred to.Two of which did not get any extra shares or had a Vastly scaled down application.Hence suggesting a total oversubscribed affair.
But two others who use Barclays indicate that it is the polar opposite and that they had all their extra allocation given suggesting a very much undersubscribed offer.
I am just trying to make sense of it but have decided just to wait and see as my broker has not informed me of my position.

Just based on what my account says about my allocation it looks like the excess was 14 x oversubscribed. That would be a very good vote of confidence although to be fair the excess that. you could apply for was so massive compared to ones shareholding that it would have to be. A bad situation for it not to be greatly oversubscribed. Another point if it is about 14 times oversubscribed people have 93 per cent of allocated for excess cash that will be sloshing around freely soon. It is reasonable to think some of that will be put to work buying share at market value - not least by those who have the feeling that some good news is about to break for the company.
Apparently Funds needs to be in your account before 10am on Friday for H&L.
Hi Stakis,
My understanding was always until officially notified that no one knows.I did not know they did these allocations by broker as seems a bit “ amateur’ imo.
For eg HL who I am with the money is still in the account and I will be notified next week.
However at least 4 posters on here who I have no reason to doubt have already stated that 2 have received their additional allocation and 2 have not so the allocation seems to be by broker.

Ivy , why do you say there has been a big difference between brokers? Surely there hasn't been any allocation yet?
Agree Chelsea that news on say an Avidmab deal will help get over any overhang but if no overhang then SP should respond much quicker.
Obviously depends on degree of over/ under subscribed but look forward to announcement as does seem to be a big difference between brokers re uptake.
Get tht ivy, but full tke up with news negtes the need possibly for taking longer to moe forwrd too. Just going have to see what plays out in the following weeks Thamk.
Quite simply supply and demand so if oversubscribed then that will mean people who want shares will have to buy in open market so SP likely to go up and less chance of flipping.
If undersubscribed then flippers will likely take SP down so yes means likely people can buy on open market.
I know long term it will be news that drives SP but just prefer to have less overhang as still not sure about overall market sentiment moving into late 2020.
If you get all you want at 5.5p then fine but just imo means it will take longer to move forward.
On my ajbell account it is showing about 36k excess shares. I applied for about 581k so have got about 7 per cent of what I applied for but still around 8 times as many as the basic entitlement
Hi RR,
Yep will just wait and see how OO pans out.
Ideally would want it well oversubscribed so that everyone got scaled back but just happy to wait out
Ivy, simple question, why would you want everyone to get scaled back??
