Morning, an RNS can also be issued tomorrow morning at 7.00 if there is any sensitive price information.
personally I don"t think there will be, but any information will be welcome and is a positive follow up to the recent media blitz and maximum company exposure. GL All
Just for info an RNS can be issued up till 6pm so they could release as they start. IMO I don’t think they will I am not expecting anything new maybe just some clarity where they are.
Something is afoot - SP movement is odd.
They could release an RNS at close of play. They don't have to be at 7.00
Thanks , got it and signed up. Not expecting anything new but Q & A might be interesting
Am hoping to understand the 24/02 Tweet “COVID vaccine developed in Nottingham reaches next stage” and whether that is a stage we already know about, or not.
I wonder if Ray is on the right track ie. more frequent updates. That would make sense to me.

It could just signal that Scancell may, from now on, keep investors better informed of all projects at more frequent intervals.
In the past, for some projects, we would only get an update at the AGM.
DIG,
Try Vox Markets - Scancell
Thanks LL. But maybe I'm being a bit dim but I can't find any presentation. It's not showing on Scancells website or any shareholder notification. Is it linked to Twitter ?
Roses,
Yes, that's one of many possibilities as well.
The presentation is tonight, online - see the Tweet Today thread - I've posted a response To Scancell's tweet so you can sign up. The BB quite rightly won't let the actual " l i n k " get posted here.
Ruck, instead of sitting on the news for a week to coincide with the investor presentation,
You could also argue that they arranged the investor presentation for the day that they expect to be able to announce any new info?
Good morning all
I seem to have missed something. Where is the presentation ?
"That's at odds with what Roses said (with many endorsements) ? ATB"
TF, yes it is and I cede to Roses greater knowledge in this field. In my opinion, IF there were price sensitive news they couldn't (within the rules) sit on it for over a week in order to coincide with an investor presentation. Therefore I am expecting no new news at the presentation. However, there may be reason for a change in sentiment which itself may have an effect on the SP.
AIMO.
Roses, thank you for your reply. Certainly alot to think about and never a dull moment with SCLP.
I suppose it also depends on what you might consider price sensitive. For example - i hoping from tonight's presentation to get a clearer understanding of where they are in the covidity timeline. I want to know what steps they have got left to achieve, before they can put it into people's arms. Would that be considered "price sensitive" worthy of an RNS?
I would be amazed if there was any RNS linked to the presentation. It can't be categorically ruled out, but imo extremely unlikely. On the other hand I hope to see a comprehensive update and a lot to look forward to, possibly 'within weeks', to quote Sky News (and that was a week or so ago - tick tock....)
Thanks all, I thought that meant 8am today, not Friday morning.
Violindog, technically true but rarely applied.
They may be waiting on a signature or clarification or confirmation on something for example.
They might be simply waiting for a bank transfer to come through ?
Lots of different scenarios that could apply.
Roses, but surely SCLP can't "sit" on the information and present on Thursday if they had price sensitive info today ?
I’m not saying there will be. All I’m saying is that you can’t rule it out.
As long as it is announced before the markets open the following day so as no one gets an unfair advantage then it is fine.
Ruck - "BEFORE it becomes public knowledge, ie, before the presentation tonight."
That's at odds with what Roses said (with many endorsements) ? ATB
Should just add.
BEFORE it becomes public knowledge, ie, before the presentation tonight.
