I was going to get my ten year old King Charles spaniel elected to the board.
Trouble is she spends most of the day having a knap.
It does make me wonder why four board members three years man hours and still cannot come up with a deal.
Seems many other companies are buying into battery storage etc.
The next excuse will be that all the assets they were looking at have either become too expensive or have already been sold to another company quicker off the block.
Maybe tomorrow’s meeting will throw some light on something.
Great board on paper???? These are probably the worst on aim and the strategy they continually change comes without a credible plan. Ferguson was buying block energy at 10p and was more concerned about that than the company he is employed by. Personally if this gets another spike to 2.5p, take it and run.
Mrc, I think I've said all that's relevant on the subject thanks.
AA - if what I have said is inaccurate then I'm happy for you to correct me.
Value has not been added here.
I suggest you go and read some of the posts by vike earlier this week. Very succinct summary of the problems here which the BOD seem poorly equipped to resolve.
A name change.
That’s about it.

An update on Fitzpatrick being a director still at companies house when he was supposed to be going. Is he resigning or being kicked out.
Could have a bearing on compensation costs.
Mrc, exactly the style of criticism my last post made reference to,
Enjoy the weekend.
AA - you will find the SP "drifts" because money is flying out the door with zero value add IMHO.
It really is not sustainable to run an £8 million market cap company with a premier league waged BOD and consultancy.
Where has all the money gone?
Thanks bigdouble goodluck to yourself and Chris Monday.
ArielArrow - certainly wouldn’t disagree with you there. Shareholders have been left just guessing to where the company may go next. Extremely dissatisfied with the new Board since taking over from NR. So much promised - so little delivered.
Maybe a question worth putting to them is why let shareholders become so frustrated that these meetings need to take place at all? After all its not the first time,
It seems they have no people skills and don't seem remotely concerned about it, it does nothing for the confidence of the company and the long periods of silence understandably just allow the shareprice to drift leaving them open to any Internet lowlife criticism further damaging their reputation.
Thank you BD
Great idea to get them on a live webcast, with a Q&A at the end. Always suspicious of a BOD that do lots of puff piece interviews but won't face their SHs.
Great BOD on paper but are they really suited to running a tiny company like SCIR?
The meeting was set up at my request just a couple of days ago. I have no idea if any news is due out on Monday. I just felt the Board needed to know how most long term investors felt. Yes, I would rather they do a webinar for all, but something is better than nothing IMO. For the past near on 8 years I have ensured the Board listen to shareholders concerns and I have held them to account whenever shareholders have felt they have stepped out of line. This I will continue to do whilst I hold shares in the company. Chris and I will report back to all as soon as the meeting is over.
BD and cperkin,
Well done to you both in setting up the meeting and spending your own time to try and find out whats happening, but I am very Interested to understand when you first requested this catch up meeting with the board and if they have taken a certain amount of time to respond to fix the meeting date? Was it their date suggestion or yours?
Just thinking it may just be after an update that may take place via RNS on Monday morning if they have decided on the date - probably clutching at straws, but desperate times means desperate measures!!
Good Luck with the meeting anyway - interesting to see what is discussed
Quite agree, will suggest it Monday joelt.
Perhaps they should open up a webinar to all investors rather than just two?
Didn’t you mean not want to be in one.
None of us are getting any younger.
Worth trying to find out how close they actually are to bring shareholder value as I want to be in a nursing home before they do, thanks for all your hard work BD I appreciate your effort
Thanks for update.
Shareholders certainly need some reassurance that they are actually doing something regarding their change in strategy and if not they need to clarify why.
A change of name and an aborted deal in over two years with an experienced board is not exactly giving much confidence to shareholders.
Any answers they have should be very interesting
Have a good weekend.
Chris and myself will be catching up with the Board on Monday late afternoon. We think shareholders need clarity on where we stand on Ruvuma and why it’s taken so long to announce any deal. Obviously, no price sensitive information will be disclosed. We will report back after the meeting.
Good to see.
Seriously thinking of selling up here and put it all in helium.
Would give me around 100,000 shares.
Did have 210,000 at average of about 6p.
I’ll have a think over the weekend.
I wish I could know just what our boards plans are and just what their strategy is to get this company moving in the right direction.
1 year is just the standard automatic renewal steve as far as I am aware, drill should be all over by the time they get to next April and then they submit the 25 year development licence application.
See Helium is now over 11p despite the 10p placing announcement, the market just can't seem to get enough.
So yet another week of nothing from the board....Sigh.
At least the sun is shining.
Expires 30th April should be extended for a year.
This time next year drilling should be started.
Could be a problem if licence expires next year during drilling.
I assume they would have to stop until licence is extended yet again.
Why can’t they just issue a longer licence in the first place, cuts down on the paperwork, time and costs involved.
If only things were as straightforward as that in Tanzanier.
