Well this none sense is being dragged out.
This was the important but.
Question is will anymore funding even be needed or will the BOD sell the Tanzanian gas assets, and invest in their strategy which is clearly the polar opposite to Hydrocarbon production?
AA - they have the power to drive the SP down. I suspect they will get better than a 15% discount that Chris seems so averse to.
No doubt it will still be touted as a great “investment” and a vote of confidence if they convert below 1p.
The same applies whenever they do it so what difference does it make, you can't have it both way's
lol
Well that order of magnitude AA. We had £7k traded on Friday I believe. It would take years to buy a million pounds worth on the open market as you propose unless they wanted to pay a much higher price.
You must be very green AA. This is basic stuff.
They would use negotiated trades also volume is not 5k a day ( more fiction)
And you will be gutted when this takes off.
How on earth could they buy on the open market when volume is £5k per day.
As Chris says it is what it is.
At least with a good honest placing you know what the pain is. The dilution through this deal is not known until PB push the button.
Let’s see where that lands. I’m guessing you would all be a bit gutted if they took the shares at 0.8p!!!
They have the shares from the first Dane that they can use to drive the price down .
As I say, payday Loan type stuff. None of you lot seem to understand how bad this is? Or just putting a brave face on?
The arrangement is what it is and was put in place to protect Ruvuma, actually something the old BOD and new both recognised in spades thank goodness. Personally I prefer the arrangement to a discounted placing of 10 to 15% and 10% fees that some seem to prefer.
Question is will anymore funding even be needed or will the BOD sell the Tanzanian gas assets, and invest in their strategy which is clearly the polar opposite to Hydrocarbon production?
Don't be stupid mrc if that was their strategy then they would have bought shares on the open market when they where 20% lower than they are now, they will sell when they stand to make a profit that's how it works,
Lol AA of course it is similar. They are giving the company cash now, and can convert that cash value to shares - in this case at a time of their choosing (most likely when the SP is on its ass to get the maximum number of shares).
It is perverse. As far as I can see there is no restriction on them selling down the last tranche in advance of taking up the new shares.
Get the ball rolling??
This BOD have had over 3 years! And the company has been basically in its current state for a few more.
I think this BOD are arrogant. They are not the right people for the job. They show zero passion for the assets. The AD business strategy comes across as a cynical lurch to what they think will draw in punters and prop up the SP. they haven’t even been successful in that. Partly I think due to the awful 35 slide garbage pitch deck full of gobbledegook. In the recent interview even the presenter was like, “what does all this mean”
Mrc, for someone who likes hard facts you certainly have a habit of making things up to suit your agenda,
If you really are who many on this board claim then you will know what a convertible loan note is and you will also know that the Prolific Basins arrangement is not remotely similar
If you have nothing better to do with yourself on a weekend than to keep your vendetta going with this company then at least have the decency to stick to the facts.
The problem is Dan/Colin it doesn’t matter what news their is you slam it to the ground, I do agree dilution in whatever form is bad but with a company with such a small mc it always hard to get the ball rolling in the 1st place, I think because of Covid they need to have until end of 2022 to prove up and on a personal point of view they will, so what would be at that time a good revenue for the company to be pulling in because at the moment it just selling all the furniture so I’m interested on what you think should be expected revenues for a small cap like this one ?
Sorry about the strapline but seeing how long it will last before you report it LOL !!!
Colin have no doubt the board will either sell the asset (2p+) or get the funds without screwing the Shareholders too much and the SP will be (4-6p) on positive outcome I feel sure !!
