Just to put another idea forward on this subject....
Do we know if the Axibiotix list is "first come first served"?
If you registered your details on their site in the first week and your not selected to receive the product then that could indicate that there were possibly many thousands of names ahead of you.
However, if you registered your details yesterday and you receive the product then that may indicate not many signed up.
This all assumes first come first served, and of course we dont know what the initial "testing the system " size is, whether it's 1000 or 10,000.
elrico, re the Opti averages, my av order size is greater than £20 as well so let's hope this is indicative of the progress made by Opti re overall order size and hence percentage growth.
Hi elrico, know exactly where you re coming from with the one product dilemma. The issue concerns avoiding unnecessary complexity with your order number design going forward when the company has many products at different values, especially in view of the small team, so they might just have to take the risk after all you as an individual wont know where you sit in a sequential pecking order and it is unlikely the majority of customers will be posting on this BB

Anon,
OPTI PI's like me that regularly purchase their products have sequential evidence on the order number status. I can log into my account and post them, they are sequential, that is a fact. That is not to say the company publishes them on their site, they do not.
The key difference, nobody knows the value of the orders, because there are a few purchase options. SBTX only has two options. 1 box or two! It is hardly taxing working out the sales, but, as I have said, it could in theory at least, cloud the maths because we do not know if the company will adopt a sales order no per region. This is what I would do if I wanted to put a halt to speculation on the sales order numbers.
Anon also if you are talking first numbers in relation to Opti, of course it does. From last years FY Results we were told that the online store sold £137, 024 worth of goods. Using my order numbers, by 11th October 6689 orders had been received; let's round it up to an even 7000 by the end of October which equates to 700 transactions per month. Adding a further 1400 to end December gives 8400 transactions which divided into last years total assuming zero growth would give an actual transaction value of £16.05. However, we were told there had been 17% growth in online sales last year so let's assume at least 20% growth this year which gives an average transaction value of a rounded up £20 which is not too unreasonable is it?
I don't think sales will be a problem either but what the .. does that to do with the way order numbers tend to be allocated?
AS, it also doesn't tell you what the first number was.
How anyone would rely on that to judge sales is just nuts, imo.
I don't think sales will be a problem, as like most, I think sufferers will be clamouring for the product, but come on.
..of course what it does not tell you is the size and value of the transaction
anon, that is exactly what a sequential order number is based on. Curries for exaple have a leading 21 to signify the year 2021 followed by the sequential order number. Someone who sells a lot less through their own store like Optibiotix Health also have sequential numbers; I have ordered from them recently on 18/05/21, 02/06/21, 16/06/21 and 11/10/21 and the order numbers were 5924, 6014, 6092 and 6689 respectively
As for the increase in the SP, I wonder what that's based on, as it isn't openly shown trades.
I'm getting sick to death of this corruption in the markets.
A good RNS tomorrow, I wonder?
So we're suggesting that order numbers are related to the number of transactions? Really?
That's utter and total *******s, imo.
Surely no website would do this because it might be an indicator of how noone is interested in the product? Not that I'm saying that's the case here, but it just doesn't make the slightest bit of sense.
I'd probably start order numbers in the hundreds of thousands, if not the millions.
Sheesh!
skid, the order number will be kept as simple as possible, package numbers which have delivery addresses associated to them can be used to track by region. Even big concerns like Curry's use plain sequential numbers on their orders
Aqua,
This depends on the way systems are set up around statutory entities and whether they outsource delivery / billing operations, but I would expect what elrico says to be be correct.
elrico "Note of caution though. The order numbers are likely to be region-specific, like UK, USA, etc. There is a danger of overreliance on any like feedback from peeps." Not sure I agree with you on that one elrico. Why should Order Numbers be region specific? I can understand individual big Customers being given their own tracked sequential numbers but that wont be applicable for skin as axis is being sold B2C.
BTW, my ref to order numbers is related to OPTI and not SBTX. I am suggesting the process for T&T will be the same because the same regulations apply.
We are likely to get an early indication on sales before the company announces the same because there will be investors on the subscription list. However, it is almost certain there will be a sales order on the invoice, just as there is for the OPTI own branded goods. So this is likely to be the early indicator for the success measure for Axis. How quickly they reformulate for Axis-A or E is unclear yet, as the priority is for P. What is clear, there will be 3-4 revenue streams (probiotics) from the AxisBiotix brand.
We have been talking about AxiBiotix as being one product; when it is not, it will evolve to target other dermatological ailments.
Note of caution though. The order numbers are likely to be region-specific, like UK, USA, etc. There is a danger of overreliance on any like feedback from peeps.
I’ve been previously told order numbers are part of traceability for security reasons if there is a product issue. So, yes, we are likely to get a clue if peeps start posting order numbers like was done for OPTI.
I wonder if there will be order/customer numbers on the purchase invoice if your lucky enough to receive some of the first batch. Will give us idea of numbers - just like the Slimbiome shop for Opti.
