belgrano, they sold 1% and SOH promised it was a once off so I would say it is impossible else any shred of credibility he has left will disappear
Hi Aquae,
I'm probably incorrect about OPTI offloading as you say they are locked in till OCT. However worth bearing in mind they were also locked in just recently and then sold a good packet of shares after a couple of phone calls, then they placed some and dumped the rest. Not impossible it could repeat, given right "opportunity".
“Poor from SA” what a stupid comment. Yeah! Really poor….. he’s got us from 5p to 65p and that’s poor? He had clearly said “before the end of May” it’s the 13th. I could understand the comment if it was the 3rd June. My money is on the last week of the month before the bank holiday and outstanding set of results. The “poor show” will be the sellers before that date.
I topped up too. Happy to see the weak and nervous move on.
belgrano "We are taking it for granted that its Seneca selling, however they have been pretty steady offloaders in the past. The ones that tend to rock the market a bit is OPTI. Have heard on the grapevine that SOH sees opportunities requiring funds. Is it the parent company rocking the boat... we may find out today." OPTI locked in until October so you need a new grapevine if that is what you think
This morning proves this is no game for the faint-hearted, that’s for sure. If this turns out as we all hope we should all take a certain amount of satisfaction from this journey. Personally I’m well over-invested here, holding more than my own investing rules suggest, so I needed a pretty strong coffee earlier on I don’t mind saying.
I managed to get £6K more at 57 so pleased with that... thanks whoever panicked....
Yes that was a nervy morning!! I'm heavily invested (as in a lot for me, although probably not a lot for most!) and I really wasn't expecting such a sudden fall, but it seems the 'fundamentals' were strong enough to deal the offload swiftly!! :)
Haha Ted, you'll have to wait your turn mate!!
I'm just on atm!! ;))
Oh dear me, we need a good sense of humour in this game!!
:))))
Yeah, skinny skins has had a bit of a knock, but is ok now, and is stable and on a nice drip-feed atm!!
;))))
Wow yes, what a morning! Why do they buy and sell in 25k chunks??
Well however offloaded that wedge to drop the price got well and truly burnt. I'm pretty stunned at the size of the support and the constant chunky buys flooding in.
This is no well heeled pi, but another institution taking position. Excellent to see.
Looks like a classic tree shake, price nearly recovered.

Poor from SA? Yes absolute disgrace he can't fix middle east or inflation problems!
Great - I am buying as much as I can at this price
With a 20% upside in a few weeks at worst me thinks
Well I'm sat on my hands lol !!!
Don't want to panick sell but it's hard!! It's creeping up again now! Somebody keeps saying some negative stuff on Advrn!!
Oh well, keep the faith!!
However seeing strong support at current price, does seem like a new position being taken. Was it walked down to fill a big order.
Think they would have offloaded anyway Ted, probably better they get a lower price and market find its own level. Does seem they are overselling now. Been selling down here for nearly 10 months now.
In their shoes we might do the same, as they stocked up with cheap stock during the fund raise last year.
Yes disappointing to see the sells, but thats the market I'm afraid. Guess the smart money is on a next Tues/Thurs announcement now, however past timings might not continue.
