with this sp? Anyone want to speculate what the problem is. Seems like a good value to go in and top up? Appreciate it recently went ex-divi but now at year low.
Good recovery stock, 18 month hold.
Looking good value, at just about it's lowest SP. Will keep a close eye intending to profit from ex-div next week, .. again.
Thanks Arsenal58. Decided to sell and take the profit. If the market had not crashed yesterday by 2% I may have held through. Cheers and GL.
The same happened in November 2018
The share rallied very good that time
Not so comfortable this time round greedy directors
I posted then also wow i have traded this share for 30 months lol
Can any long term holder explain why selling so many shares just before the company is about to go ex-div is in any way a responsible way to act by a director ?
I'm guessing it is some sort of bonus deal, as under normal circumstance this would spank the SP.
OK I'm In. Bought today at 258.
Recently did well trading the DLG rise into the ex-dividend date and plan to do the same here.
If I end up holding through then no problem, I'll collect the div, reinvest and Sabre will be just fine as a hold.
Cheers all.
Yes I picked some up about a week ago in anticipation of a rise on run up to ex divi date 22 April. Will keep watch and may or may not stay to collect divi
Why I am invested in Sabre Insurance
I began buying Sabre Insurance earlier this month on the day they produced their Annual Results and after having them on my watch list (along with a few others) and doing extensive research.
I liked the Annual Results, and I am only now investing in top 350 companies, ideally ones that are good dividend payers and / or ones that have protentional capital growth.
The current dividend of 6.8p is being supplemented with a special dividend of 4.9p making a total of 11.7p and currently my yield is 4.96%. I calculate my yield on what I am about to receive (on 22nd May) on my actual costs. HL indicate a yield of 4.36%
I note the share-price has moved a little today, but I believe it will move substantially more over the next few months.
RKB
amazing market gave me the opportunity to pick up 2000 shares at 233p this morning
nearly recovered this morning drop, nice
Nice divi and decent statement not sure why off 7% , time to pick some up way too cheap.......
I have been in this floatation and very happy, seems like a well run business that pays shareholders.
Buy Long Stay Happy
Sabre offering 11.7p divi on very positive news
not bad ,we will see what the market thinks
Ex dividend today so minus 3.5p on the day so far.
Dividend is 4.7p paid within 28 days.
Last dividend was 6p paid 3 months ago.
we will need to wait to see what Simon T says in IC later....
Profit largely flat (up or down depending on the measure used), but great liquidity ratio and a stonking first year dividend
I will stick with this investment for the income but perhaps not buy more at the moment
I guess the large sell by the director as cleared!!!
Very strange sell if you ask me??? the trading statement was very good then he decided to dump 962 thousand + shares?.
Must have needed the cash 💰 quick 🤥🤯
It's not much cop if you are subsidising your divis from capital. The share has underperformed for the past 6 months and revenue is down pre IPO.
I also think that Smithson has included this share in the investment trust.
Given the logo is in his owners manual you can be pretty sure they have brought.
I am not sure, but I think Sabre Insurance is on the new Smithson's Invetsment trust. We will probably find out next week!
Only 2% of UK market and not into commercial vehicles as yet; so plenty of room for growth.
Well, with the over 5% dividends and likely special dividends I am in.
Does anyone know what the scale back rules were. I didn't get my full allotment and would like to check AJ Bell have done it correctly
I too bought in at launch but didn't get full allocation which didn't surprise me. On paper this is a cash generative niche company and they are mooting 6% divi, we'll see. If it does drop I'll certainly have a punt with more though.
Just had a small dabble here, glad to get a full allocation and happy to see a decent rise to kick things off.
