RG well done, see if you get a reply, l am still waiting since my last email to HL
MB, I’ve followed your lead, and AGAIN sent another message to HL:
Sir/madam,
Despite numerous messages to you, I have had a very poor response.
And I’m very much aware of fellow shareholders of CGH, (in accounts, held by you on our behalf) having a similarly poor service.
Neville, registrars to CGH, responded to one shareholder thus:
Thank you for your email. All correspondence will have been sent to your broker regarding this. As far as we are aware, certificates in Contango Holdings PLC have not yet been produced and distributed. The correspondence suggests this will be within the coming weeks”
My last response from your corporate actions group, indicated that they would get to know about this action via “RNS, or Crest” she didn’t even seem to be aware that CGH is an unlisted company, since 2016. So it’s highly unlikely for an RNS to be issued.
As mentioned above, I’m greatly disappointed that correspondence/action from yourselves, seems to be like drawing teeth.
Regards.
RG couldn't agree more , and we are referred to as Great Britain , a joke
Thanks for the info MB.
“From Neville.
Thank you for your email. All correspondence will have been sent to your broker regarding this.”
And all we get from HL is twaddle…!!!
Surely all the large brokers have to do, is collate the number of shares they hold, and provide the info the CGO brokers. There’ll be no reason to print certificates.
So come on HL, move you backside, and pull your finger out.
I have forwarded Neville's response to HL , eagerly await their reply
CBB yes would hope so
Thanks Micky, we may yet see something back from this shambles
From Neville.
Thank you for your email. All correspondence will have been sent to your broker regarding this. As far as we are aware, certificates in Contango Holdings PLC have not yet been produced and distributed. The correspondence suggests this will be within the coming weeks.
I have emailed HL and Neville registrars earlier , no replies yet
Crystal well done again
Just heard back from them, they are now aware i think of the urgency of this, and there are a couple of people int the team now looking into this, including the lady mentioned below, I have stressed how important it is to understand they wont receive anything via crest or the usual RNS method.
It does appear that the information they are getting points to the task of distributing the shares having been bigger than the registrars were expecting, and thus is taking longer.
Still nothing under corporate actions, one day it may happen, enough of us have been in contact with them
Thanks for the update Crystal.
Neville registrars confirmed that communications regarding this action have been sent out to all holders/brokers, including HL, who should be contacted for any update regarding the transfer of shares to CGO.
I contacted HL 2 weeks ago, no reply yet.
there must be millions and millions of shares on their books, we can't be the only ones
Fingers Crossed
Crystal , brilliant work , well done
Phone call made, chap i've been dealing with is on holiday til mid July, so the very helpful chap I spoke to has taken the details and will be trying to help by speaking with the corporate actions team on my behalf and explaining how urgent this is becoming. He's also got both letters as evidence.
Crystal , keep us informed
I think i'm goign to phone H&L see if i can speak to the guy who was dealing with me that has now gone quiet
Well done Faliran
FWIW, I sent the following to Avenir on Sunday:
I understand that you are the registrar for Contango Holdings Plc (“Contango”), and as such will shortly be making a distribution of Contango shares to holders of Consolidated Growth Holdings Ltd (“CGH”).
A number of shareholders in CGH (myself included) maintain their holdings in nominee accounts provided by Hargreaves Lansdown. May I therefore ask you to confirm that Contango shares will be distributed to those CGH shareholders, who do not of course possess paper share certificates and are unlikely to be named in person on any list of shareholders. In this regard I understand that some other nominee shareholding entities have already informed their CGH shareholder clients that they will receive their allocation of Contango shares in due course.
Thank you for your attention in this regard, and I look forward to hearing from you.
thank you very much for your information benAlder,

I have had this recently from Avenir
Hello,
We are not the registrar for Consolidated Growth Holdings and are not the initiating or administering agent for this distribution. While we are the registrar for Contango, meaning that we will be lodging/recording the distribution once it is complete, we are not the party processing or issuing it and do not have the information you are looking for.
I can only suggest you direct your query to either your custodian, Consolidated Growth Holding themselves, or their registrar.
I am sorry but I do not have any further information to offer.
Kind regards,
Andrew Turner
