So, I replied:
Hi Suzanne,
CGH, are not a listed company in the UK, they reside in the British Virgin Islands, so I’m pretty sure there will be no RNS announcements.
Apparently CGH, via the CGO, registrar have been sending out letters to KNOWN certificated CGH shareholders, informing them of the dividend.
Shareholders on the old LSE (for Sable Mining Africa) chat board, the old name of CGH are extremely concerned that they will be bypassed from this dividend. And are very dissolusioned by HL’s lack of assistance with this matter.
Several shareholders are of the opinion that HL, as holders and keeper’s of our accounts, should be vigorously chasing CGO’s registrars to ENSURE that we are not left out.
In my case, this dividend should approach £8000, a reasonable amount by any standards.
I therefore again respectfully request HL, to contact the CGO registrars to ensure our allocation of the dividend.
Yours sincerely.
After my message to HL yesterday, I received the following:
Dear Mr ****
Thank you for your messages regarding Consolidated Growth Holdings Limited, I apologise for the delay in our response.
I can confirm we have not recieved any official announcements from the company or through CREST in regards to a special dividend to be paid to shareholders. HL would always recieve official announcements from RNS in relation to any dividends or corporate actions affecting a particular share which would also be announced through CREST, in this instance we have not recieved any information. In the instance there is a special dividend announced we would write to shareholders to inform them of the distribution.
I hope this has been of assistance to you. If you have any further queries, please view our Help and Support centre or contact us on 0117 900 9000.
Kind regards
Suzanne Butler

RG , would seem like always the tail (us) are wagging the dog , only in the UK would a 3rd rate service happen
rg , its so hit and miss , bitty , no one knows what is happening . HL seem to know naff all
Hi jt,
If we were talking about any other entity, I reckon your assumption would be correct, but CGH aren’t from past experience, what you could call an helpful/trustworthy company. (imho)
I sent a secure message to HL on the 21st June, and still waiting for a response, so I sent another this morning, telling them what a poor service they were giving.
At least the CGO sp is steadily rising, which will mean less shares to sell when doing a bed & isa.
Good luck everyone.
Just to let you guys know not much has progressed and not had any cgo certificate shares through the post yet. I hold certificate cgh shares so I’m assuming if I’ve read it correct that I should receive cgo shares through the post. Please someone correct me if I’m wrong.
Of a few the last 2 were Christine Keay & Rosie Hargrave at HL
Micky, who have you been dealing with at H&L, for me it's Buster O'Brien
Thank you Cossie will go check online must have missed that one
ii have already issued the corporate action notification
Has anyone contacted ii on this matter i you have please share correspondence
I have had replies latest
Thank you for your enquiry.
I can confirm we have contacted the registrar and we are awaiting a response from them on this. We will be sure to send you an update once we have received a response from them.
If you have any other questions please let us know.

I've emailed twice and send one secure message and had sod all back, i'm fully expecting to get screwed over on this
Still nothing on HL's corporate actions yet , still awaiting an update from them , but by previous posts , things looking promising
I have written to HL again asking them to confirm that they are in contact with Avenir regarding the CGO shares and advising that they have a duty of care as a nominee shareholder to take these steps in order to ensure that their customers get their shares. No response yet.
In the meantime, I understand that interactive investor and Charles Stanley have stepped up - are there any other nominee shareholders which have communicated with their clients in this regard?
Next step for me - a message to Avenir, I think.

When you get the contango shares don’t sell them
Good research being sourced
Sorry Roy Pichford
Roy Prichard is on contangos board I see lol
A friend has just got the corporate action from Charles Stanley that they have received the CGO notification.
Haha no probs RG33. It seems we are nearing the light at the end of the tunnel and hopefully we might actually get something out of all this mess.
Jt, sorry,
Scrub that last post, I see it was from CGH. Must put my reading glasses on before answering ;- )
My misunderstanding then jt.
So if you don’t mind me asking, what was the source of the letter you received?
RG33,
It’s me that’s used the Dropbox, it was the only way I could figure out how to upload a picture of my letter. Don’t think CGH have used this themselves they’ve just posted letters out as far as I’m aware.
