There was another Stateside miner that with the help of reuter's journo issued a news article with no substance to say there was a phone call with Tesla, they flew and next allllll the directors sold shares!..... Plenty of twitter posts highlighting the story and Reuters never said a thing.....swept under the carpet and as usual toothless regulators did nothing.
Howard Klein/Lithium Ion Bull touched on US listings in a recent video, probably on Youtube, he gives recent examples which haven't been so successful post listing. Others may have been better off due to Tesla links
Some US buys coming in since US open. They are paying slightly higher.
I think EMH went up because it was being linked as a possible supplier to Tesla, promoted as if it were a secret source that no one knew about amongst Teslarati in the US that had just seen PLL skyrocket on the back of Battery Day link up.
It was well pumped and TIN played a blinder. Yes it helped but it is back at 80 now. We don't want to spend big on something for minimal l ng term effect. EU will; have all the Capex finance we will need. I'd rather spend $2m on getting this over the line for real SP improvement that will hold.
Nasdaq = expensive. DDDD got it recently and did nothing for them and NASDAQ loves a good biotech.
True. But it needs somewhere in between. I think SAV is at one end and VUL the other. IMO only.
SAV is past regular updates of project progression, there are only big ticket items left, you can't release news if you don't have it....however now EIA is moving there is a tighter timeline now. Extra drilling will be add juice. Galp will now move for DD finalisation with money in bank and EIA progressing. VUL and some other companies recently have been caught be trader ramping and FOMO. Look at the rubbish that happened on PREM and the unsuccessful pump of KOD that twitter pumpers tried on. There has been regular Twitter feed updates on industry progression in EVs and batteries, but they cnnaot release news that way.
Shocking self promotion in Canada Nickel, but their advertising budget last year was $400k or something silly.
I don't disagree but compared to other companies, it's slow. VUL went from 30c to $10 based on nothing but regular news updates with their shareholders. IIRC its MC is now close to $1B with some big investors like Gina Reihart onboard and it's all done by regular updates.
Personally I think SAV has a way better chance (I dumped VUL for SAV) of producing product than VUL (which is going to have some major drilling headaches for it's wells) but he just doesn't put the effort in to help raise SP, which in turn raises MC and helps capital raises. Maybe he needs to hire someone for marketing.
Well said ATD.
In my opinion the EIA being accepted on Friday has given rise to the need to move forward on a number of items, that will cost money. The money being spent now will deliver multiple in returns.
He just managed to get the EIA to be accepted by APA after 3 years of work! It was a ball breaker....... Galp news before that propelled it from 3s to 5s. GALP were not going to finish DD without a: EIA accepted and B: SAV with dosh to move forward with out tripping up
I think SAV has the best chance of succeeding in getting a Lithium mine up and running in Europe. I also understand we need the capital. My gripe is with DA, he comes across (with my experience in other more successful companies) as lazy. Very little news dribbles through. Then a CR with a nice round 4p figure when I believe he could of raised a lot with a little effort with pricing and news.
Investing in SAV has put me off investing in other UK small caps, I'm just used to them being run by people who put in the effort and give more feedback.
People have profited well here buying 1.8-2p with the rising EV sales, Li prices going up and the Galp deal. The scoping study was done at a higher level like a PFS and they have gone direct to DFS is the reason for no PFS.
The market is tough if we were post DFS the discount would not be the same, we need the money to have strength going towards end of this year, cutting deals with bigger players and new licences.
Exactly. So how can a Lithium company in Europe with nothing, increase it's market cap by 50X's in six months and not even have a PFS yet this dog goes back 4 months on price to raise capital when it's so much further forward.
Look no further than Bacanora Lithium (BCN), they done similar placing at 45p when their SP was over 60 in early Feb. Their SP has traded between 40 to 45 ever since. And they are now fully funded to Production. So anyone thinking there is a quick buck to be made, IMO, forget it.
Not too much damage long term, but we will languish for the foreseeable.... :-/
