Trade yesterday looks like a delayed Buy to me as the SP has moved quite fast so far today Northwards, Also the 2 Big trades in Red on LSE look like Buy,s , So a £58K buy + another £40K in large tranches bode well for some positive action
Matter of interest and for any Investors who have any misconceptions or doubts as to the scale of intent from Geremy Thomas & Sativa Investments plc , Please check out this 227,000 Sq Ft Weed Growing Shack in Canada
https://mjobserver.com/video/look-inside-wayland-groups-purpose-built-cannabis-facility/
Sativa,s Shack will be 298,806 Sq Ft
Game On
A blue start again. Onwards and upwards.
Personally I would say £32M is a tad optimistic, Depending on strain say X 3 crops per year that would gross £96 M per year on a PE ratio of 12 gives a value of £1,152000,000 Ahhh Unicorn status !!!!!!
Not Just yet I think for SATI
The biggest threat to Sativa Investments is the Canadian Tsunami =
https://t.co/QfQDpx5UwH
These Giant Players have all R & D licensing criteria in place , Whereas the European ( apart from the Dutch ) are playing catch up on there own territory , The Israelis and Canadians + Dutch have years of documented R & D in Medical Cannabis to support there products and quite frankly will muscle out any pretenders , However SATI have Canadian JV with Veritas Pharma + a foothold in Germany with Lexamed
GAME ON
Hi there. I bought in to sat last year. Was reading that the new greenhouse could generate 32 million per crop. I don't know if they have funding for it yet probably won't be long the way things are going. Nice to see sat on it's way back up again long may this continue.
Finally a tick up !!
Buying Ratio is relentless , Must be a large overhang to keep the sp from running away , Always a broad range of prices on the Ask. but its buy,s they are
Surely due another tick up given constant buying?
Impressive volume over last 2 trading days as opposed to previous months.
I think the reason the shares are moving up is people are anticipating a huge de regulation of products like hemp and cbd products soon , opening it up to the high street properly and yes I know you can already buy it in Holland and Barrett, I bought some cbd oil there on Saturday, but some more de reg. is what Brexit will ironically bring to this sector, read Geremy Thomas's plan for this company, it make a great read. the gov will want to promote any sectors of the economy that are potential growth (revenue) streams and this will be on their list.
10p today.
Nice start.
Here's to a blue week ahead.
this is an interesting article..
(Sharecast News) - Sativa Investments, the UK's only medicinal cannabis investment vehicle, noted the recent rise in its share price on Friday, reporting that while it had made investments to date, it was unaware of any specific reason for the recent movement.
The Nex Exchange-listed company's board noted the recent, significant increase in media and investor interest in the medical cannabis market, including a statement from the UK Home Secretary earlier this week highlighting the potential legalisation of cannabis for medicinal use in the UK.
"As the UK's only quoted medicinal cannabis company, the board believes Sativa is increasingly being viewed by the UK investment community as the de-facto UK investment vehicle for the sector, leading to the recent share price strength and enhanced demand for the company's shares," it said in its statement.
Sativa did attempt to draw investor attention to its admission document, noting that subscribers who participated at its initial public offering undertook not to dispose of any interest in ordinary shares for a period of 12 months following admission, which took place on 29 March.
£76.5 M is a rather high valuation / MC for a company with only a few £mil in NAV , However First Mover Advantage in an in vogue space with European market touted to be worth $110B by 2025 , Seed to Product business plan ,An experienced high caliber CEO in Geremy Thomas , Connections to HMG on the board
Who knows how far Sativa can go
The European Medical Cannabis market is a tricky play and not so clean cut as many are led to believe, European regs dictate company's or suppliers need a track record of many years before they are given a license to distribute MC, This gives the Israeli's Canadians & the Dutch to a certain extent a massive advantage as no European start up has the pedigree as yet, German licences are being held back on a decision on who gets what but Wayland Group have German JV,s and look favorite
Sativa have Canadian assets so hopefully should they get to supply MC in UK & Germany from the off , There Canadian JV,s can fill in the void until there Wiltshire Greenhouse comes on stream, George Botanic s is supposedly already marking up £68K a month revenue , Seed to product with first mover advantage is to be respected and worth a hold,Whether there worth an sp of 15 to 20p is up for debate
Thanks how 50, but these articles are from October 2018, there is still some useful info in there, but nothing that explains yesterdays sp move. I did play the initial run with Sativa and did quite well, kept some but sold most, this might be on the march back up tho, as a company they are well placed, quite well funded and have a great board so with any policy changes they will be set to jump on the opportunities. I will keep an eye on Sativa and decide when to get more heavily invested. Is one for the future tho especially if any policy changes on drugs.
afternoon Guys, just bought in to this last week, been reading about Sativa and saw the proinvestor interview so got a few before this starts to move. heres an article mentioning sativa.
https://citywire.co.uk/new-model-adviser/news/the-fund-managers-on-a-high-from-cannabis-stocks/a1169214
heres the page showing who is invested and how many shares are out there
https://sativainvestments.com/cbd-medical-cannabis-investor-information/
the reason its going to move is because people are finally waking up to this as an incredible area to invest in, the fact Geremy Thomas is CEO and he knows a fair bit about business, he started the carphone warehouse group.
plus the only other UK company in this CBD field which is listed on the Nasdaq is currently trading $163 a share.
it wont stay at this price for long!!
Does anyone know how many shares are in issue here?
Thanks for the info Carpe diem, Sativa do look like they are trying to make a good go at being the first cannabis growing and supply company in the UK. I wonder if their greenhouse goes ahead how much cash this would generate?
A buy rating about to come out from Southbank investments. Hype on monday so see what happens.
Anyone know why the share price went up today, I havnt seen any RNS or news from sativa?
Some nice volume today.
Aha! I didn't know that there is a forum for sativa. Great. Vgla
