The BBC isn't cutting edge journalism so I'm not surprised to be honest...
No news is good news...
No mention of sareum. We are not even at the starting line yet

Approved pill. How does it rate against ours for COVID-19 ?

Check out God's Golden Acre by Dale le Vak. Endorsed and sponsored by Oprah Winfrey. Hiv orphans. Let you do the leg work. Makes me shiver.
Thoth shameful people used like a cheap lab but totally agree about vaccine reluctance there my kenyan ex is anti vax even that i had all the jabs i find it hard to not to agree with some things she says about hiv tests and stuff thats have gone on there
Evening WIP. Appreciate your comment. And I greatly respect your comments. I'm not great with words. Greatly respect your previous comments and those most recently re maybe I'm not a tin hat chap. I like to consider myself a critical thinker. I'm watching were the money is going as I'm sure you are. Time will tell.
Tyk tok ;-)
? How long until vaccines are deemed ineffective and treatments are deemed superior?
How many jabs can an arm take?
Until the money is deemed to be looking at alternatives to vaccines?
Happy here.
Whilst not a complete tin hatter. I completely understand vaccine reluctance. Especially in africa which has been a cheap lab for testing and afro americans. Its just a fact it happened.

On the bright side. If we are to make some money and continue the virus in the wild. I have some "back stage" passes for chessington zoo xmas bash. Ill get my coat.
Hardly surprising there is so much distrust is it?! Once anyone gets a sniff of the truth they’ll just bury it in lies and red tape. Dangerous times.
Morning all,
Next Friday's Ch4 Despatches prog might be very interesting with Pfizer being accused by a former senior US health official of “war profiteering’’ during the pandemic.
The Channel 4 investigation reveals analysis by one biological engineering expert claiming the Pfizer vaccine costs just 76p to manufacture for each shot. It is reportedly being sold for £22 a dose to the UK government.

WIP - You're the closest we have to an insider and that's good enough for me!
Yes, the ethics behind medical progress is a whole other conversation. Did the 10 mice sign a waiver prior to taking part in the trial? I'm just waiting for someone to say Pfizer et al know enough about vaccines and the way that pandemics pan out, that they deliberately engineered the vaccines to have a limited effective lifespan thus additional sales via boosters - record profits, here we come. Cynical, moi?
oh, and I went home and cried the first time I saw a beagle in a cage. genuinely sobbed. haven't been back in the building since. 10+ years ago.
Ps - I wouldn't say I'm an 'insider'. I'm not lab based. some v close lifetime friends are. 2 ex's are. total chemistry nerds but i love them to bits. I work in all areas. my nerds are impressed with my knowledge of all things CHEK1 (Chk1) and Tyk2. I don't tell them I learn from you lot. let them think I'm a scientific geek too
Hi HBD - I wouldn't miss it for the world. still trying to get my head why the FDA need 55 years to process the FOI requests around Pfizers vaccine to the 30 or more professors who've requested it. including professors from Yale and Harvard.
Therapeutics is the logical (and ethical) way forward.
Hi WIP - As our resident 'industry insider', you might be interested in a Channel 4 prog at 7:30pm on Fri 10th re shenanigans at Pfizer.

Regards.
Morning gentlemen (HBD I’m assuming, Danny obviously)
HBD - I’d never dream of such a thing.. but my last average up was £15k worth at 7p and I’m still very very very very happy with it.
Danny - fully agree regarding ipr, aside from Tim, the neds and a few experts elsewhere in the rather dark, murky and unscrupulous world of pharma (let’s be honest here), very few know it’s potential.
As for your views on other things, I’m sure previously a few of the one hit wonders who arrive have insinuated you may have worn a tin foil hat in the past, which is a comical MSM insult. I warmed to a lot of your ramblings earlier in the year and you defended your opinions which I massively respected. Think we know where we are going. Good documentary on YouTube if it’s not been removed called ‘out of shadows’ by an ex-Hollywood stuntman, quite the eye opener. Seems yours are already wide open though.
I’m obviously looking forward to dipping into Thoth’s bag of cheesy delicacies at the 28p/50p/£1 party, but I’m also rather excited about a beer with you whilst we model said tin-foil hats and talk all things symbolism, lizard people and mkultra.x
Hi WIP - I certainly hope you're using any insider info to your advantage.....sorry, NOT using! ;-)
WIP. I just want to say thankyou for your response. It means a considerable amount of respect to you from myself regarding your post.
There is so much I could post furthet but it would be deemed contrary to msm news reports.
I also believe that the potential of our ipr is not fully understood by some.
Biting my tongue to say more. But will resist.
Best regards and wish you a happy Xmas.
Evening Danny
my tuppenceworth. I work in the industry, and we have a large vaccine division.
18 months ago, the world was told a vaccine would keep them all safe, 1 shot and your life is saved. Then it went to needing 2 shots to be 'fully vaccinated', to be allowed to travel, to fly, to eat in a restaurant. to go see your old granny. since then, a 3rd booster to keep you safe. now the 3rd hasn't even been administered yet to the masses, and it 'probably wont work with omnicron variant'. roll on booster number 2/shot 4 early 2022. then again summer 2022 for the week in benidorm. shot 5 autumn 2022 'just to be safe'.
I'm far from 'anti-vax' or a conspiracy theorist (2 hideously out of date insults IMO). I speak with guys and girls who've worked on vaccines all their careers and they struggle to see when it will end.
Even the most die hard vax fans will soon start questioning it. Every 6 months? Every 3 months?
treatments/therapeutics are clearly the way forward, especially in capsule/osd (oral solid dose) form. you feel rough, get a prescription from GP, course of tablets to swallow. bed with your teddy for 3 days at home. no hospital beds taken up. no need for course of injections from the doctor or at hospital.
Suppressing the cytokine storm will be a turning point in the way many conditions are treated. its just a shame MSM are so far behind.
Even large pharma (my employer included) are way behind, and seem to be throwing anything they have at it on the off chance of success. Merck were going to save the world 4 weeks ago with the Covid pill. 3 weeks on, its 'not as effective as we first thought'.
Therapeutics for me. get treated if you fall ill. not incase you fall ill. times are changing. there will a lot of pharma fighting over Tyk2. fact
Just what I scratch my head about and admittedly would appreciate an answer to. For the record I'm for treatments. So this
How is COVID-19 treated?
Treatment for COVID-19 depends on the severity of the infection. For milder illness, resting at home and taking medicine to reduce fever is often sufficient. The more severe cases require hospitalization, with treatment that might include supplemental oxygen, assisted ventilation and other supportive measures.
“Two drugs that have a role in treating severe COVID-19 infection are the antiviral remdesivir, which has full FDA [Food and Drug Administration] approval for treatment of hospitalized patients with COVID-19, and the corticosteroid dexamethasone,” Auwaerter says.
“The Food and Drug Administration also gave emergency authorization to use convalescent plasma [CP]. The data supporting the usefulness of CP for hospitalized patients is less robust than that for remdesivir or dexamethasone, but studies are ongoing to better clarify its role.”
I'm pretty sure we are better than remdesivir and dexamethasone! Pretty sure citizen and ahfam and thoth could confirm this.
And then this re July RNS
Dr John Reader, CSO of Sareum, commented:
"The results from our Covid-19 research project are very encouraging and provide clear evidence of the potential of SDC-1801 to reduce the excessive inflammatory response seen in severe Covid-19. We are keen to progress this project to the next stage and will now explore our options to find the best way to fund these next steps. This could include the UK government's AGILE clinical development platform, which was established to fund Phase 1 trials and fast-track the development of potentially ground-breaking Covid-19 treatments. These activities are expected to run in parallel with the broader SDC-1801 development plan targeting autoimmune diseases. We look forward to providing updates on our progress as we reach key milestones in the development of SDC-1801."
My opinion.....the large pharmas are making billions with vaccines and the 'treatment' drugs approved so far are rather questionable. So we are superior I believe (please advise otherwise) and its a matter of time until we get recognition when the bidding for licenses for our ipr are made apparent.
Maybe it might happen before the Q and A?
There is definitely a bit of turmoil regards omicron and vaccines needing atleast 100 days to react with deemed effectiveness.
Treatments seem to be the way forward.
Just my thought.
