Encouragingly, in August 2021, Sierra announced the inlicensing of the BET inhibitor AZD5153 (now known as
SRA515) from AstraZeneca and noted potential combinations
with SRA737 as a possible pipeline expansion opportunity. In
September 2021, Sierra provided an update that referred to
the initiation of additional clinical studies with pipeline agents
including SRA737 in other haematologic and solid tumour
indications in the first half of 2022. Specifically, reference was
made to a potential role for SRA737 in combination studies
in solid tumours, including pancreatic cancer, where patients
have become resistant to PARP inhibitors.
I did read somewhere and cannot find again that the preclinical studies of SRA737, LDG and ICI (immuno checkpoint inhibitors) were superior to just SRA737 and LDG.
February approaches.
Thanks Thoth - as both have already been through clinical trials would it be likely that any combination trials would have accelerated status?
I would hazed IO is an immune oncology agent. E.g a keytruda type molecule
SCHeck - regarding the Sierra pipeline I find it strange why ‘ SRA737 + IO/Gemcitabane’’ is showing as phase 1 design. SRA 737 with Gemcitabane has already gone through 2.5 years of trials and reached phase 1/2 status. Not sure what IO means as there is no explanation - unless it is other investigational opportunities. Even so surely those trials would have a faster time scale for completion given existing progress and scientific support for unmet need status?
166,533 cancer death in 2018/19 in England (Cancer Research UK) compared to c150,000 death from COVID in the last two years. Total deaths from COVID include anyone who died within 28 days from a positive test. So, I would say that at least a third of these deaths were due to other reasons (cancer, HIV, car accidents, etc). Now, what I want to say is: they try to scare us publishing COVID deaths figures every day on TV and they want us to take they wonder vaccines but at the same time the government allow the sale of tobacco, cigarettes, diesel and other products known to cause cancer. Sierra has been playing with SRA 737 for years but no one feels the urgency of taking it forward. The question is: do governments really care about their people or has the COVID parade being organised to sell some vaccines? The all COVID story stinks and the fact that measures to prevent cancer have not been taken stinks even more. Globe warming would be another point of discussion on the fact that governments don t really care about us but it would be too much for a Sunday morning.
In case you haven’t seen it, it’s on the plan….

This was the RNS on November 2020 when we were stitched up by the experienced guys........
Sareum's CEO, Dr Tim Mitchell, commented:
"We believe this revised agreement between Sierra and CPF clears the way for the further clinical development of SRA737, either internally or through a partner, giving Sareum the potential to benefit from downstream milestone payments.
"While the aggregate level of these milestone payments is reduced, we are confident that this amendment will expedite the advancement of the SRA737 programme in a timely manner. We look forward to further updates on the clinical development of SRA737, a molecule that has shown great promise in clinical trials and preclinical studies, particularly in combination with other types of cancer therapy."
Will it ever happen?
Don't care? Day to day SP irrevelant to value hunters with a long term outlook. Although I won't say it'd be nice to have an upward SP but meh. Happy with the science. I'd grab more but I'm more into my PM/PGM stuff than bio and still zero hour burger flipping for a living so capitol constrained however happy to have my SAR trading and ISA positions for that bio value hunt.
Just wish something like what SAR has to offer was widely available this time last May.
Only woman I ever truly loved fell gravely ill, in the prime of her life, to the wuflu (forgive flippancy but I refuse to give it any official title at this point, my personal favourite is commie-coof but that is a bit on the pol side) and to this day I suspect the Dexa and god knows what else they pumped into her caused the heart damage that played its part in an autobahn car crash after recovery and then multiple failed surgied to save her arm. She lived but coma, seizure during, out of, coma again and well, god knows. She's still alive but opted to cut me outta her life. No explanation. Don't even know if she remembers me.
MFW a god tier Tibetan forensic anthropolgist big tiddy goth gf who told this burger flipper STFU when I tried to talk about cytokine storm, covid and ventilation before all that happened is gone to me.
And I never even physically met her cos lockdowns. It was planned for coming out of lockdown last April, an Amsterdam meetup to test the waters before I went over to Germany where she lived, But then she fell ill. (Yes the issue of catfish has been considered inb4 it's thought - bet you never thought you'd hear the term catfish here XD - but no. That's some super AI deepfake video tech is all I can say.) Anyyyyyway.
Investors don't moan about day to day SP without meritable news to warrant it. Traders do. What? It's been a very hard 2 days in the kitchen and I'm a bit out of patience lol. Not with SAR. Just with these kind of questions. Wider market volitailty re Ukraine? Perception of SAR as a covid play but covid fearp0rn (again, outta patience with it all) is dying off? Portracted timscales? Concerns re consolidation? All of that and more?
Don't care. I trust the science and have faith in the bod to deliver shareholder value. With better medical outcomes for many to boot.
GLA.
PS. Now rereading that it sounds like I'm blasting Blastoid but no. More venting personal angst than anything else. It does get a bit tedious/frustrating reading the same questions when you have multiple shares to monitor. I get what some mean now when they say careful how many you take on if you mean to keep on top of everything.
Best of health everyone.
Krone I agree with you on this 100%,
Sierra are looking to partnership. In a way similar boat to us.
Our Chk1 is special. look at the development partners. You will know as been here a long time.
Regards and will add positive input when not so cream crackered or brahms and list.
Shrinking SP in anticipate of further dilution following announcement of top level Momentum trial results next week?
The upside however may be the confirmation of partnering to progress SRA737 combination trials.
Does anyone invested her doubt the science? SRA737, SDC1801 and SDC1802.
Would be grateful for thoughts as to the ever shrinking SP ?
