I think in reality we do not know what a fair price should be.we just need a very updates to determine that. However I was a sceptic of 1 pound but that gives us a valuation of what around 4bn which may turn out to be chicken feed I a few years
I get what you are inferring BilltheBank, but if you do a bit of research you may begin to see why this has the potential to get there. Admittedly we are a long way off at the moment. but a fair sp at the moment would be around 10p given the news pipeline and developments.
Johnz any views on Sar?
NCYT - govt didn't pay them and now being shorted
ODX - no big news for nearly a year
SNG - product still in trials after a year (but it has gone to 80 then 200 then 100)
HEMO - death spiral of CLN, contract not materialised
PYC - pump and dump, they have contracts but low amounts
AVCT - no big disappointment yet
I doubt the answer is so simple. There are always multiple factors at play. In my view, the key is to understand how SAR is different, but be mindful of the mentality of traders and investors, and the machinations of the market.
Perhaps this suggests these £1+ prices are possible but they won’t last and the price will tank afterwards
It is an interesting observation, and I also note that the current prices of many of those shares are now very different -
NCYT 7p to 1210p in 2020 - 71m - now 347p
ODX 7p to 126p in 2020 - 183m - now 74p
AVCT 14p – 215p in 2020 - 253m - now 259p
SNG 6p to 240p in 2020 - 200m - now 154p
HEMO 1p to 15p in 2020 - 980m - now 2.10p
PYC 1.5p to 10.5p in 2020 - 97m - now 6.6p
YGEN 7p- 24p in 2020 - 723m - now 14p
N4P 2p to 16p in 2020 - 181m - now 8.75p
VAL 6p to 60p in 2020 - 65m - now 18.25p
So the only one that has gone up is AVCT, and all the others have reduced considerably. I don't have any knowledge about these companies so would just make a couple of observations:
1. SAR is not a one-trick pony. The Covid stream is a side play to their main foci (albeit a very welcome one!) and there have been numerous posts in the past outlining the sheer diversity of diseases that SAR's work can potentially tackle. This would suggest greater sustainability of shareprice.
2. AIM is super volatile. We all know that. But the above does suggest that time in analysis of one's own exit strategy is time well spent.
Is anyone invested in / know about the above companies and understand why AVCT has bucked the trend, and whether there are any important lessons for expectations for SAR?
GLA and fingers crossed for this week.
Given that Sareum has around 3.2 Billion shares in issue compared with
NCYT 7p to 1210p in 2020 - 71m
ODX 7p to 126p in 2020 - 183m
AVCT 14p – 215p in 2020 - 253m
SNG 6p to 240p in 2020 - 200m
HEMO 1p to 15p in 2020 - 980m
PYC 1.5p to 10.5p in 2020 - 97m
YGEN 7p- 24p in 2020 - 723m
N4P 2p to 16p in 2020 - 181m
VAL 6p to 60p in 2020 - 65m
I'd say the SAR 2020 rise from 0.36 to 2.42 is already worthy of this list
Although with so many shares in issue I struggle to see how any these £1+ predictions are realistic, I suspect these are just want traders want us to think so that there will still be people to buy in when they're selling
Mangio they can sell their 32 million shares bought at 2.8 from Friday onwards, if they haven't already forward sold them. They have warrants issued for a five year period which can be exercised if the SP stays at or above 5p for five consecutive days, so they can take these anytime over the next five years which is roughly another six million shares they could access dependant on the SP.
Just don't think this entity is bothered about the SP think they are in it to promote the science. If the SP shoots ahead or Sareum get taken out they still make money to invest elsewhere, and you would think whoever took Sareum over was after the science themselves for the good of all of us.
think you need to re read the rns...
slowly this time
So who invested £900K 8 days ago has already a good profit as the investment was made @2.9. I believe that he/she or the institution has to keep the shares for 5 years.
I wonder if the same entity will make another purchase or more and attempt to take over SAR. Certainly there are hints in this direction.
There is no smoke without fire and soon we will see.

Best one I’ve had since the dot.com boom of the late 90’s has been Genus (specialise in animal breeding to improve the quality of livestock) amazing company up 30 fold since we bought in 2003. Same increase on SAR from purchase at just below 1p would take it to 30p which would be just wonderful!!
Any of the Top 4 will do nicely Brighty :-D
Brighty,
I was in few Companies that you mentioned.
Novacyt from 65p to 1225 (sold 5k shares)
ODX from 20p to 120p (sold 20k shares)
Avact from 20p to 210p (sold all my shares)
Ygen still there at loss
VAL sill there at HUGE loss, but did a luck trade from 12p to 60p (only 20k shares)
Sareum from 0.25p (average) to 3.5p HUGE profit.
Good luck to all of you Guys, you deserve it.
All good,
A quick reminder....
NCYT 7p to 1210p in 2020
ODX 7p to 126p in 2020
AVCT 14p – 215p in 2020
SNG 6p to 240p in 2020
HEMO 1p to 15p in 2020
PYC 1.5p to 10.5p in 2020
YGEN 7p- 24p in 2020
N4P 2p to 16p in 2020
VAL 6p to 60p in 2020
Given the right newsflow Sareum can achieve similar meteoric gains in 2021. Anything is possible......
Good luck all Sareum shareholders. Brighty
The shares he bought are admitted on the Friday 11 June, IMHO news could be delivered on 14 June.

Bought at 2.8 p. It removes the immediate need for a milestone payment. On the basis of the RNS we should see a nice blue day.
Intrigued how the high net worth individual reached this deal. Somebody knows a little more than we do me thinks.
Just to add heartfelt thanks for the condolence messages sent by you lads and maybe ladies.
EDIT:
Just a thought, it’s not Thoth topping up is it? ;+)
‘High net worth individual’
And ‘cannot exercise the share options until the SP has been over 5p for 5 consecutive days’
All looking extremely confident
RNS
Wow - this can only be a vote of confidence.
