Bluedreamer - the thing is, over the years I've spent as much on my hifi as I did buying my flat. Dang, it sounds good! So without wishing to sound greedy, anything north of 79p would buy me a well-appointed home with plenty money left over for a larger guitar collection etc. and maybe a spot of altruism too (I'm not a complete git).
Unless there is something major that goes wrong. I think Parker and therefore the rest of the board are confident of 1801 going into P1/P2 by the summer. That doesnt mean we are going to be rich but based on the risk of failure, which is still very high for all compounds. This is the point where Sareum could be purchased out right for relative peanuts. I think RMM had it between 16 and 67p with a Covid play?
Hotblackdesiato can sympathize with you there I live in a terrace house so you have to have a bit of respect. However when it's cleaning the house time, Friday morning then the music is on so I can hear it everywhere, it's two and a half hours for me. Have a great weekend all.
If it's good in covid then we will be closer to £3. In regards to pre-orders, I should imagine when it's in the AGILE prog. and it's showing promise the government or whoever they have appointed to look after the programme would look to partner Saruem with say Astra or someone else to scale up, so the pre-orders will be through them I guess.
RMM have a go chap- love to see your insight and figures now that we have been semi-turbo charged. Fadec also to add a little balance please.
Just squeaked in with a truly modest amount at the bell......so i guess i am now on team Sar.
Potnak - To be honest I'll take whatever we're given. I live in a smallish flat and my dream is to afford a house where I can play music loud enough to peel the wallpaper (I'm currently quiet as a mouse as I don't want to be a bad neighbour).
Hot - what would you take? Personally, Id snap their hands off for 20p before June. If good data and going into P1, 30 or 40p. I'm sure most of us here would take anything between 20 and 40p. Even if the potential is a pound. I'm not greedy, 40p sees me and the missus retired living a nice lifestyle.
I imagine they could easily negotiate a third party manufacturing deal. Still maintain ownership of the assets and the lions share of the revenue.
My comment related to pre-ordering
A really valid point, this will become interesting as we get closer to June
Potnak - yeah, my thinking too. If we look like getting anywhere close to 30p a share / £1bn valuation then I suspect big pharma will wade in. The question is, will Sareum be happy to sell out having created a £1bn company with effective treatments or hold out for £1+ per share?
Casper - Oh I'm sure they'll be back but we'll just humour them like the petulant children they are, "Yes, yes, dear. If you're nice and quiet while the grown-ups talk you'll get ice cream later on".
I think we will be taken over before any sales come our way. Sareum just aren't setup to go full on pharma. Could do with RMM getting his calculator out.
Basser. I hadnt even thought of that. But of course you are right. F@@ck my luck. :) Of course they will pre order.
When official confirmation is published that SDC180 is to enter clinical trials for Covid 19, I assume that Countries around the World would be looking to pre-order supplies as with the vaccines. Anyone have knowledge about how that procurement would work?
Wherever the share price ends today, we now know that SDC1801 does what it says on the tin in inhibiting covid in human cells. The treatment demonstrated very good tolerability. This alone has booked its ticket on the bus to the clinical trial venues. I think the buses have powerful motors and will arrive at their venue sooner than anticipated. We are on our way.
Wishful thinking HbD. Some of these trolls are "experts" who sold at well under 1p. This morning 's news will have sickened them to the pits of their stomachs but they will be twisting the words before the day is out. In the real world they would have restraining orders on them but hey ho. Just read the rns again and it is very impressive. Hopefully some more snippets at next Wednesday's presentation.
Hopefully with the positive outlook for SAR we can say a final farewell to our trolls (paid or unpaid).
Yes, we're still some way from complete validation but it's clear that management are doing something right.
There will be a nanosecond's silence for Charlie (both the original and their clone) at close of trade today. Trousers to remain at halfmast for the duration. It's what they would have wanted.
