Thoth, that is massive news and if the secret patent is covid then it's going stratospheric. As you state bms were the only real competition.
I don't think they have to wait for the submarine period to be over. Its just, they can. The period allows time to get all the documentation and ducks aligned so no one else can copy the invention and register it as there own. Having said that, I think they will wait. Why wouldn't you.
c-19
remdesivir confirmed as no clinical benefit......again.
https://endpts.com/european-study-finds-that-gileads-covid-19-antiviral-remdesivir-shows-no-clinical-benefit/
and bear in mind. as part of the celgene/bms merger. BMS sold otezla for $12bn to satisfy competition authorities, that was already approved in 50 markets just in psoriasis. because they thought their tyk2 that is still in the clinic had more potential. thats the money I am holding out for.
I double checked. the bms tyk2 is imho the only serious tyk2 competion . and it definitely does NOT mediate il-6. which our does and is key for c-19. as per press release below showing it doesnt do il-6

Or it could be that SAR will want the whole world to know about it and can't wait for the submarine period to be over then they proclaiming tobiggest RNSfandare of trumpets EVER.
Agreed Potnak - sorry I worded it not as well as I could of.
In approx 4 weeks I’m almost certain one of our very own detectives will find it within a day or 2 of it being somewhere on t’interweb - which in turn could force an RNS or at least acknowledgment from TM and JR
GLA
WIP. The cracking researchers here will have to go find it I think. SAR will be under no obligation to tell us what the content of it is. Especially if it isn't anything exciting.
Aber - was referring to the timeline quoted last year, several posters on here said there’s an 18 month period where it’s private, but after that it will be in the public domain. April ‘20 til October ‘21
I’m certain that was discussed previously my good man
PS - morning Brighty, hope you still got that list to hand to add to soon ;+)
Yes WIP, lots of news flow is due, including the final piece of the SDC1802 patent jigsaw re the US Patent notice of allowance. That should be announced by the end of next month. On 30th July Sareum stated “The Company expects that the patent will be granted within three months, subject to certain formalities being completed”.i.e. not long to wait. We might also be hearing that Patrick Chinnery and his team at the UK-CTAP advisory panel have signed off SDC1801 for Agile in the coming weeks. Then again a licencing or takeover RNS could be next to drop as you say…. Good luck, Brighty
WIP - have i missed something ... 4 weeks till secret patent is out of the bag ? ... i was not aware of any timeline in which the BOD had to release news on this patent ... is it not possible that news will only be released once the patent content is ready for announcement ?
Yep! Something may well drop out sooner if Xeryus is right and the feline is let out of the Louis Vuitton.
You never know
Let’s not forget, approx 4 weeks until the secret patent is out the bag
I agree with most on this board. Given the pipeline, given the ‘world will find out soon’ statements, given the universal acceptance that they have landed in the right space at the right time.
It can only be an enforced silence, IMO.
