What's your tipple, thoth?
My missus got me laphroaig for Xmas. Going to crack it open tomorrow.
Apologies in advance for tomorrow night's posts.
My last post Reminds me of a joke.
A compere at a stag night asks " who has sex once a night" a few of the men put their hands up.
The compete asks" who has sex once a week" a few more men put their hands up.
The compete asks "who has sex once a month" some more men put their hands up.
So the compere asks who has sex once a year, and a little guy at the front jumps up and down and shouts " me! Me !" And the compete asks why are you so excited?
And the little guy replies " tonight's the night "
Reminds me of a bob monkhouse gag. The missus says "come upstairs and make love to me". I can do one or the other but not both. Best wishes and hope it eases soon
Covid is a bag of ****e.
Long covid.Brain fog, tiredness and weakness. Breathless after running up stairs.
Self employed but only capable of a 4 hour day now

I have to proof read my posts at least 3 times with this ouzo brain fog
Change mafia into mafuta in 4 goes, changing one letter at a time.
Ouzo got me through covid but it hasn't helped with long covid brain fog.
But I'll carry on taking the medicine.
Cheers everybody
Mafia and bridges, I'm awarding you deputy badges.
Your mission is to keep a close eye on the mm's shenanigans and report back on any underhand dealings.
That should give us plenty to read...
Yawn
Mafuta The MM are already being watched ..... by us. There has been some stinking manoeuvres by the MM that has left a lingering stench. I have reported this into my network out of principle and would not be surprised if they get investigated. It’s not stacking up and the shares should be imho 8p now with all the good news but the MM have forward sold and in control of surprising the sp for their own benefit. It’s appalling. I notice a lack of their paid trolls around. Don’t they realise they can be traced, It’s not difficult but I leave that to the expects ie my teenage lads. Cheers
Some trading platforms have suspended trading in GameStop and AMC shares. THe FCA has fired a warning shot: "The FCA is aware of the situation and continues to closely monitor trading in UK markets. UK investors should take care when trading shares in highly volatile market conditions that they fully understand the risks they are taking. This applies to UK investors trading both US and UK stocks. Firms and individuals should also ensure they are familiar with, and abiding by, all regulations including the market abuse and short selling regimes in the jurisdiction they are trading in."
Watch out MMs and shorters you are being watched.

Yes of course - you star then
Care to discuss the clear price manipulation yesterday, Lazarus2?
We have a product with such potential to have a calming influence on Covid19, as to transform the symptoms from "Deadly to Moderate". In order to prove this, we need to fund a substantial set of Trials and provide corroborating Data, which costs Money. Up until now much of the money spent has come from PI's or Grants - we need VC's, Grants or II's to come in, crack the whip, and Deliver with Haste (which means cutting out delays between funding initiatives, by providing a bucket of cash up front).
However this is done is of little consequence to those on ventilators, but it needs to be done quickly - not that it will save THEM, but that it gives them hope for their kids and grandkids who could be six months or more away from a jab, or possibly in the minority who will not respond to the vaccine. If by popping pills for a week (like with antibiotics) we cut the death rate by 90-95%, it will be money well spent regardless of how it is raised. And finally, should a vaccine resistant strain suddenly burst onto the scene, would it not be great if pharmacies already had something on the shelf that would help.
James you know as well as I do ... the FCA will do squat
James old chap it’s all in the analysis.
Lazarus he either can’t or is trying to defend a stop loss raid and part of the gang
Don't be such a petulant child - it was a civil question which I note you are avoiding answering...and why would I complain to the FCA unless you are a member?
Tell my why you don't claim foul play when the price goes up? If you're going to make accusations, you're going to need to be consistent. Also, make a complaint to the FCA if you're not happy with it, that's what they're there for.

It isn't nonsense at all. It happens all too regularly as you well know. I am happy to be educated by you though. Please start by explaining a 10% initial drop on little or no volume especially when news could drop at any time. I accept that some investors become weary and sell but this is more like a raid on stop losses.
Happy to be educated though.
Thats the nature of the game Adamsrib. Of course they will want a slice of the cake. As BlackisleBoy mentioned nobody really knows what is happening behind the scenes. What we do know, however, is that they have presented to the VC market in what appears to be a closed shop presentation., so logic dictates that the board must have reviewed and approved this as a strategy going forwards - otherwise, why do it at all.
With everyone agreeing that a placing would be welcomed then an Investment Bank cash injection should also be welcome. in the absence of an early deal.
Lots to play for here and I am not selling 1 single share. I've placed my bet and the wheel is spinning. Again, just my own thoughts.
If 1801 data isn’t good enough to land a licensing deal now then they will also struggle to raise £6-7m that’s for sure…
Would be fascinating to see if they actually have any data in some of the suggested indications, when looking at the DOD US Army lupus data and the time it took, it ran out of funds and was just one guy being mentored and was never completed it does make one wonder.
If venture capital comes in they will ask a high price for money injected.
Hopefully all in the know are aware of the ramifications of that.
I don’t think you are right with your assertion Spec: as VC are risk investors and want to invest early to get a good return.
Time will tell if there are any takers.
As for sp manipulation I have been around investing long enough to know when a share is being walked down by mms on little or no volume. Ask yourself who benefits James.
Nonsense, why do people only call it when the price goes down? Look at the Buys v Sells.
