Hi Jesterman, thanks for your reply. Is Pam Martin the Customer Services Centre Manager of Selftrade or Portage? Have you experienced any problems in receiving the share certificates yourself? I just wondered how you know who to contact. Thanks again.
Hi Chazzy; I would suggest you contact in WRITING Pam Martin
Customer Services Centre Manager ; stating that it is their responsibility to resolve this matter asap and that failure to sort this you will hold them financial liable not only for the lose of value current or future values, but also for YOUR administration time at say £50- 100 per hour. Also a copy to - Thera Prins
Chief Executive Officer.
I'd be interested to know of any other SALV shareholders who have not yet received their Portage shares, particularly any who use Selftrade. I've contacted Selftrade several times as well as emailed Portage for some clarification. Portage have told me that the share certificates were dispatched back in Jan, but Selftrade's nominees have confirmed that the certificates never arrived, hence lost in transit apparently!! If this is true it's clearly very concerning. I'm still waiting for further clarification.
If you haven't yet received your share certificate, I would strongly recommend you contact your broker too and confirm whether your nominees have actually received the shares from the Portage Registrars in Canada.
Would appreciate any comments on this.
have tweeted links to two very interesting Lew Bender interviews.
Really interesting listen. Very exciting times ahead. Hold Hold Hold!

For those holding Portage or FFWD shares listen, digest and smile :)
Announced new auditors, they have left their Toronto auditors and moved to a large New York company, specialists in IPO onto Nasdaq.
Can see a RTO into an existing Nasdaq shell coming soon.
They charge a fortune to deposit I have my share certificate and no one will touch it as it’s a forgein cert
You're welcome Jesterman. Glad you finally got a reply from Portage. I'm still waiting for my Portage shares. Portage sent them off in Jan apparently, but my broker has confirmed that they are still waiting for them to be distributed. It's all a bit frustrating but what can you do but wait. When they do arrive in certificated form I'll have to find a new broker to deal in them , but that is not an issue as I intend to hold anyway.
Reply from Portage IR;
Hi *******
Restrictions that your broker is referring to is for the US residents. Portage shares issued in connection with SalvaRx acquisition are freely tradable in Canada by all non-US residents - on Canadian Securities Exchange under the symbol PBT.U.
I believe Salvarx shareholders circular provided certain names of the brokers in the UK who can handle CSE listed shares - see extract below:
"The CSE is a junior stock market in Canada and is not widely traded by investors in the UK. A number of UK-based brokers do, however, offer a trading platform for investors to dematerialise their Demerger Shares (should they wish to do so) and deal in Portage Shares electronically. Shareholders wishing to hold their Demerger Shares in dematerialised form should, in the first instance, speak to their existing broker to see whether they provide this service. If they do not provide this service, such Shareholders should contact other brokers. The Company makes no recommendation regarding which brokers Shareholders should contact regarding new accounts (if their existing brokers do not provide a CSE trading facility), but the Company has contacted an established London broker, Peterhouse Capital Limited (“Peterhouse”), who have consented to their contact details being included in this Document. Any engagement is subject to the standard terms and conditions of Peterhouse for new clients and Shareholders should satisfy themselves in this regard that they understand and accept the proposed terms. The Company accepts no liability or responsibility for
the appointment of any broker, or the terms of such appointment, by Shareholders.

Duncan Vasey dv@peterhousecap.com +44 (0)20 7469 0930"
Please contact one of them to see if they can handle your shares.
In view of this information I would advise other interactive Investor account holders and any other broker customers being given incorrect advise (advice for USA shareholders) to contact their brokers asap and draw this to their attention.
Portage also have provided information as to a UK broker that will deal with share certificate holders.
I hope this information is useful. Many thanks to Chazzy2 for your input:)
Thanks Chazzy. I just mailed them prior to seeing your message. waiting for their reply
Hi Jesterman, I emailed Kam Shah, the CFO of Portage and got an immediate response. The email address is: ks@portagebiotech.com. He will be able to confirm whether Portage have dispatched the shares to the nominee company used by your broker. Good luck. I'm still waiting for my Portage shares although Kam did confirm that Portage had sent them off in January. So now they are just waiting to be distributed at this end.
I have tried unsuccessfully to email Portage; to get some clarification on dealing/ brokers, etc; but keep getting a 'sending error' on their contact page.
If others could try it would be useful?

long process, but hopefully worth it.
I’ve reveived my shares in the form of a certificate at IG don’t deal with ASX, however I’m struggling to find a broker to lodge them as it’s a foreign share certificate anyone else had this issue?
Ive contacted my Broker AJ BEll, they waiting for Registrar to release the certifcate.
Likewise Zatcha. Contact your broker and find out whether the nominee company your broker uses has received the shares from Portage. Which broker are you with?
still waiting for my Portage shares ;(
Ditto, all eyes on Portages pf now
Has anyone had their Portage shares yet? Did they arrive in certificated form or have they appeared in your nominee account? I'm still waiting and have heard zip from my online broker. Anyone else with Selftrade?
The reason I’m asking is I’ve a buddy who bought some on the 8th in the morning before the vote was announced. I understand there is some confusion around his entitlement. They were around the 80p mark. Obviously they hadn’t voted so he thought with that and the price still high he would be entitled to it. But it does say on notices before that, that those on the register at 5pm that day (8th) would get the portage shares. Now the next day the price dropped to around 20p and were actually marked ex-entitlement. So likewise I would think he was Entitled to portage shares. Yet the broker is saying when it says to those on the refgister at5pm on the 8th. With current trading T+2 he should have bought 2 days before to get entitlement. Even though they were still at the high price. The broker thinks the MMs were being a bit naughty. Try working it out minus any trades you did on the last day. Curious to see what happens
Could be my error as had a couple of small top ups to round up my salv holding lol will crunch the numbers later. Halifax can’t trade unless portage relist on nyse or nasdaq and with that spread It’s not worth transferring them. Change of listing has been mentioned here before
1971bod. You say the conversion rate doesn’t add up. Is that 2 accounts the conversion is based on. Did you do a top up on each just before the deal was finalised ?
Trying to understand impact for ASBE on the recent changes as pointed out there, they sit on large £ on their accounts published.
Seems only buys since the recent move.
Just try to learn
Hi bod
I use HL too. But whatever UK broker you use I don't think there will ever be any detail unless Portage list on another exchange such as the Nasdaq ... which as you no doubt know is the rumour ...
