Tardis, Ed Regineli resigned with immediate effect in Sept 2018. Mark Zorko was appointed but then resigned last month, after just 4 months.. His appointment was after rthm/tap started negotiations... Did the CFOs find anything untoward? Reason given for appointing Mark Zorko...yet 4 months later, what happened to the execution of its financial plan? The mcap is now around £100m.. "This transition supports RhythmOne’s continued execution of its financial plan focused on accelerating growth and profitability. " https://investor.rhythmone.com/newsroom/2018/09/25/directorate-and-management-changes-092518
What is the point in appointing a new CFO when they are due to merge in less than 30 days? Clown...
Stt you are sick, get back in the gutter.
Rthm don't have a full time CFO.. CFO... RTHM's rns... Everyone check for yourself. .. Is it possible he found something untoward and didn't want to stay on... Mark Bonney now President, CEO and interim CFO... So TAP are merging with a company without a full time CFO where the last CFO resigned after just 4 months... More cost saving...on appointing a CFO... " and in a continued effort to streamline costs"
It should be quite interesting at the GM, if only to see how uncomfortable the players all look.
I'm surprised Eric didn't spread it over 2 days to get an extra £3000!
Just got an email from Pixalate to say Perk TV and Perk TV live are in their top 5 of active user apps. Quite good when it's out of 2 million apps!
Rhythmone looks good on all fronts bar the SP.
I won't hold my breath for any answers in 2 weeks time.
Anyone like to have a punt at how big a holding Tosca can acquire in Taptica by April 1st?
A poster on ADVFN suggested this must be a new position, rather than their old YuMe position, if they are complying with takeover code rules on disclosure.
I don't know. The last filing I could find in Edgar was from 21st December 2017 when they declared 2,437,687 shares in YuMe. Under the R1-YuMe exchange ratio, this would have given them 1,785,605 R1 shares when the merger completed. Today they disclosed a bit more than this, at 1,909,420.
Either way, new position or largely their old YuMe position, it's an interesting development I think seeing them disclose. I would hope they are considering their options in terms of trying to reject or improve the Tap-R1 proposed deal for R1 shareholders, either by themselves as an activist investor who might try to rally shareholders in general, or perhaps by first agreeing a common position with Lombard Odier.

max19, I dont disagree, I only mentioned the fact that it has been put on numerous boards years ago and there were many mnay signatures, I would suggest a lot more than 10000 and nothing happened, but, agree that if you dont try, nothing will ever happen, so good luck with it.
I dont know how spread betting would affect it, even if it was to be succesful. Have to say, I have been in the investment world for over 25 years now, but have never experienced anything like AIM.
rusty, you always have to re try.....doing nothing will take you nowhere in life.....long shot it is I agree, but the fact it is signing very fast means it is a an important issue to many.
Sorry to say, but this same petition was put on multiple boards years ago. And nothing happened, so cant see anything happening this time either.
1602 SIGNATURES NOW STATED ON THE PETITION
At 10,000 signatures, government will respond to this petition
Hi Arthur, for some reason it was removed by admin after I posted it on few boards....as per your inquiry I posted the link again.....ATB.
Hi Max, glad to see your post has been reinstalled. There should be plenty of signatures hopefully.
400 signed it in less than 3 hours......hopefully will be successful move to bring it into a serious debate.
Why has the previous post regarding the petition against AIM shorting been removed I wonder ?
Well, well, well. We still have Edenbrook as a shareholder. I wonder what they feel about the merger terms and whether they might take a public position against it, as they did with R1-YuMe. Edenbrook plus LO together would have a significant vote in the context of the 75% of votes needed to pass the scheme.

I think you’re right Tricky - big fat tree shake. Good time to buy IMO; TAP has bounced off its £1.50 support line. DYOR.
I sold R1 when it was at 270p some months ago and let the cash sit in my account.
I recently bought back at 174p and was quite pleased to average down, I would certainly buy more at the current low price.
TAP is an unknown quantity to me so I'd rather not speculate further.
I suspect the big players are shaking the tree and about to gorge on the windfall prices.
EMC you get 28 Tap shares for 33 of your R1 shares,,,,theres a lot on here who wish they were only 50% down
28/33 thanks B
28x155= £43.40 33x133.40= £40 at today's prices
If I got this right then a merger today would mean we get 'more' TAP £3.40p per 33 R1 shares
All pretty inconsequential for me as value of my R1 shares are down over 50%
I don't think I am going to buy any more - move on to something else; GGP where I am doing a lot better.
i bought R1 and not Tap is i think if the deal doesnt go through,,R1 will get the better bounce,,theres about 15% difference,,what i cant understand is Odier only buying 5K and issuing a RNS,,i always thought it cost £3K to issue a RNS
Emc, the ratio is 28/33 not 16/19
If I thought that R1 was going to rebound soon from 130ish would it be better to buy R1 or Tap given the 16/19 ratio of the merger or does it make no difference? Or if the whole merger is a mess is it best to stay away from them both?
Whatever happened to those Broker forecasts of £9 per R1 share not so long ago!!!!
