Dear All,
The bids are all in.
I think that we have all been very realistic - even conservative - nice that there are no BOOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!! posters, but we may get them tomorrow.
I hope and believe that we will get the results tomorrow - I for one will be on line at 7 am waiting for the red dot, but will be on the London Stock Exchange page as it comes through more quickly.

I wonder if we will get two RNSs - just an inkling?
The rules are that if there is an Uncrossed/Trade, that is the price, if not, the first buy trade price.

Be interesting what our P/E ratio changes to.. new investors will be scratching their heads trying to work that one out.
RNS states the latest West Brae well is gushing 2500bopd. When companies state the figures they normally do so conservatively. My guess is the latest well is double that. Plus, another well campaign ongoing. AA will want this next well online prior to handover to TAQA. Both wells gushing a cumulative total of 10kbopd and the appetite is well & truly whet.
We’ll be back at £20 in the blink of an eye.
Stay Safe People!
If Putin is fronting this, expect Novak to be the sacrificial lamb. This is how these things work in Russia and other countries with all powerful leaders. Russia appear yet again to be at fault IMO as they have resisted recent production cuts with their typical one dimensional tough-man approach to every negotiation and have pushed MBS too far a few weeks ago. Putin has his back against the wall with Russian populous increasingly unhappy about the way he is handling matters. He will want a deal for economic and internal political reasons leaving Novak’s reputation tarnished but who cares. As to what price this opens tomorrow am, this does not really concern me too much apart from an opportunistic trade if the markets look right as my main investment position is long and I feel very comfortable with that until the oil and general market stabilises. For the record I do expect a drop by the MM’s on open and across the day in lieu of any public statements so may seek short term opportunities along the way. An exciting share to be invested in at these levels as the downside is modest but the upside is very significant all IMO.

Hope I'm wrong
This is a point I haven’t really understood this weekend, “oil set to plummet” I see it falling back but I don’t really understand why everyone is talking like no deal has just been announced,it reads to me it’s a delay to give more time for better structure of a deal and involved everyone, as it should, but It’s not been cancelled.
No RNS: £7.90
RNS with operational update £10.50
OPEC+ meeting delayed, voices raised between Russia & KSA, oil prices plummeting.
However, an important detail: Putin's spokesman, said he is personally handling the oil issue. Putin's aides don't usually link him to issues that are likely to fail. Just a thought.

Excellent, we'll stick to 9.00 pm tonight then.
Ammu123, I sincerely hope that you are right and I am wrong, if you are, I owe you a serious drink.
£10++ would be my best day on the market for a very long time.
I think it would be nice if AA makes an opening offer of £15 to take us private, and that somebody else seriously outbids him.
In the meantime, £10 for an opener will do fine.
I think it’s 09:30... I might be wrong though
I think it has to be the u/t, I think that we will go straight into auction.
Ammu, what time does the oil market open?
How will you play it, first AT trade or U/T if there is one ?
has to be before oil market opens tonight....

I initially thought oil would drop after the delay to the meeting however all these positive statements I reckon we will see gradual rise upto to opec meeting....
Hopefully a decent final results to top it up and Brent at 40 by Thursday could see this to 12
Pressure building on Russia to toe the line ...
The importance of the postponement reflects the flexibility and sacrifice of Saudi Arabia in an attempt to reach a global agreement to stabilize oil markets and counter the massive decline in demand caused by the Corona virus.
