IAG RESULTS OUT
LONDON, May 7 (Reuters) - British Airways-owner IAG
reported a 1.14 billion euro loss for the three months to
end-March, as the pandemic restricted travel, and forecast only
a small rise in capacity to 25% for the April-June quarter.
Flying just 20% capacity in the three months to the end of
March resulted in the group posting the operating loss before
exceptional items of 1.14 billion euros, slightly better than
the 1.17 billion euro loss consensus forecast.
Rolls tanking in premarket Frankfurt sitting at 100p
Difference is the world is thriving.
Good morning the day has come! BBC started talking about travel already! tune in!
I remember reading similar posts when I bought Barclays shares at 80p about 10 months ago. The world was dead, negative interest rates, government interference meant Banks couldnt make money any more. Better picks elsewhere, Only regret was I sold them at £1.40
Invested? Insane investing here. Nothing happening to RR until 2023 when it might start creeping up on a yearly basis.. that’s if it’s even still afloat. Much much better options elsewhere. Elvis has left this building.
I remember thinking that back when the vaccinations were authorised and it was a damp squid of a day nothing happened.
solid.
very interesting.
Frankfurt up 3c from our close, which is approx. 105.5, but RYCEY down 1c from our close.....which would make us 103.!
Tomorrow is going to be a fun, emotional, day.!
GLA.
I'll take anything positive. On that note have a good night everyone. See you all at 7AM ;) lets hope we wrap up with a nice Friday finish
Travel announcement on traffic light list for UK
can someone enlighten me on the tomorrows big day? whats happening?
I don’t think the announcement is going to make a big difference Slight rise to 106 maybe 108 at best but profits quickly taken and finish day 104.

Come on Red_Inky, whats your prediction for the big day tomorrow ? :)
Invested
Not sure what you mean by -“what’s the point being invented ? To make money !
Do you believe your 'friends' Inky? If you do then what's the point in being invested here.....
I couldn’t help you in that as I’m submarines but I do have contacts and friends in aero and they are not expecting much change this year in flying hours and share price.
Tomorrow announcement??
Fingers crossed I am looking forward to tomorrows announcements :)
Any start of international travel is a good news. Will be small steps at a time. Market does not expect fully open aviation in May. I expect RR at 110+ on news of international travel starting in May.
slight winds from the south pushing north.
Sunshine for the best part of the day :-)
Cw we closed at 103.40 (+1.61% ). And RYCEY is going up to match that climb I guess :)
