So
20,000,000,000 USD equates to £17,249,000,000
Divide by 5 (yrs) = £3,449,800,000
So that's the 'turnover'
Estimated 12% profit... £413,976,000
THATS got to be the BIG DEAL??

NEW YORK (dpa-AFX Analyst) - The analyst firm Jefferies has raised its target price for Rolls-Royce from 470 to 530 pence and left its rating at
"Buy". Analyst Chloe Lemarie justified the higher price target for the engine manufacturer's shares in a study published on Friday with a shift in the valuation basis to 2026. The product mix is likely to deteriorate somewhat in 2025, but with higher margins from 2026 onwards./bek/he

Not where I wanted to END the week - would have liked to stay above £4 but what can you do.
These last few weeks, my portfolio has lost nearly 10% paper profit but considering i am still WELL in Profit and in no rush to sell - it's not too much to worry about.
Have a wonderful weekend and se you all next week :)
"Unions don’t really care how lucky the workers are, they always want more, just look at the train drivers for TFL."
Trello, there is a slight difference between worker's motivation and ours; theirs is to maintain their basic living standards and ours is to gain MORE money above our basic living standards.
Looks like the £4 ish price is the norm for now till we get some news that will take UP or DOWN.
I can wait 🙄🙄🙄🤷🤷
Apart from AGM on 23/5 there are 3 roadshows and all that they entail, hopefully some snippets will come out
30/4 - Toronto
1/5 - Chicago
3/5 - Denver
In February 2025 a sharesave scheme matures for RR maybe in the companies mind regarding a Buy Back?
Approval to buy shares was a resolution last year too.
As explained, comments by both CEO and CFO at the CMD suggested buybacks will be further down the road AFTER divs.
It is perfectly normal for any business to instigate the authorisation for purchasing own share way ahead of the first initial purchase.... with the shares I hold, it's usually 6-12 months.
That suggests, to me at least, that reinstatement of Divs is on the cards within that period (prior to buybacks commencing).
Behave yourself Rheinmetal_fan.
Unions don’t really care how lucky the workers are, they always want more, just look at the train drivers for TFL.
Was that aimed at me?
I've done a sneaky top-up at 3.94 this morning (but it wasn't 11 million) and another one yesterday at just over 4.00. I'm quite pleased that there's some confidence out there other than my own. Long hauling it.
Tufan at the CMD suggested buybacks were further down the road AFTER repayment to shareholders (Divs).
Don’t know if SMR is a nailed on certainty. 60% of UK power is regularly generated by renewables. Is there an actual need?
It’s been said before - this ONLY going one way longer term (barring any MAJOR world events)-STOP PANICKING unless you NEED the cash short term.
This IS my retirement bucket and I fully expect to sell above £7/8 pounds in a few years when it’s time to cash in.
Or I may just let it ride for the DIVIDENDS depending on my situation when I turn 55idh🤘
My mate Dave said he was going to buy some - I suppose it could be him although it would suggest he's been living well within his means as he drives a 7 year old Fiat Punto.... If it's not Dave I suppose a headge fund / ETF / Pension company? Is there any way of checking? - Do pension companies (and the like) disclose major purchases? If it is indeed Dave I'm guessing that information would be hard to get - unless he lets on in the pub later - I'll ask him and report back.
Personally I think selling any time before next year is odd, but if you need the money etc yes then sell.
We have SMR, Increased Flying Hours, more contracts and results to come....this year.
There has just been an £11 million buy !!! any ideas who?
