West country
There was a BBC report last week regarding containment field magnets for fusion reactors
Personally I tend to worry about lavatories when planes go over...not shure what to think about plutonium being dumped over my house coming into Heathrow
Any details welcome
Kind regards

Google was right once last week so we should all follow it, Te He Ha ha
Surely as investors we are more interested in reasons why our investment here will rise rather than the history of Friday’s closing price. Has anyone got opinions or info ref the mail article on RR mini nuclear power stations and how it could effect the SP going forward. GLA
Nice write up in the mail on mini nuclear power stations. RR now actively seeking orders.
Thanks for the info Red_inky.
I agree the prospects for RR are good, exciting opportunites with the Ultrafan & potential new business with Boeing concerning a new aircraft design. I am just trying to get a feel for which airlines to monitor for indications of an uptick in revenue. I also know RR are involved in a multitude of other military, nuclear, marine, etc industries. Hopefully the aviation business will be flying full thrust in the very near future . GLA. LTH
Usual, day to day travel to Europe is not RR, but that is because it's normally smaller planes.
Don't forget, several airlines, have stated that they are potentially going to swap out small planes for large planes due to the volumes/demands to Europe following relaxation of rules, so you could well see a 777 with RR engines flying to Barcelona, Madrid, Faro etc.
RR has 30% ish of the worlds travel, and not forgetting, this also includes Cargo flights, which have increased, not decreased due to Covid, with the thanks to Amazon, PPE, Vaccines etc. etc. etc.
US case rate now at 33k a day., UK's is 2,250 per day. US is 6x bigger than UK. Give it another 10 days and it will be a lot lower. Vaccine is now open in a lot of states to anyone who wants it now, so their vaccine rates should increase, they are not restricted due to supply.
US may not be in the next announcement, but more than likely will be in the one 5 weeks ish from now.......obviously depends on then the UK and the wonderful media on the Indian variant.! whether the UK is on the accepted list from the US.!
Re Google and price. The only reason everyone is talking about this, is because of earlier in the week, when Google showed a massive drop after hours, and we opened the next day approx. to what Google said. Who knows if it is tru, or not. We will see Monday.
GLA, Good Weekend.
Your more or less correct , I think 80% internal IS are P&W ... I think once good settlement from general flying is open the price will rise ... I’m expecting 1.30 areas for June 2022 but may come sooner ... we are betting on covid not rolls. Great company and very long term has the opportunity to be up their with the likes of Tesla
Thank you for taking the time to reply Red_inky. Would it be correct to say the American based airlines do not use RR engined planes in their long haul fleets (e. g. dreamliner & 777's) or if they do it it a small percentage. I have read the A350 are all RR engines, but the 787 & 777 are sold with an optional engine configuration. Would it be fair to assume the middle east, east Asian & European long haul fleets use a higher % RR engined aircraft in their fleets? Thanks again.
South America - Caribbean etc long haul
If we are talking long haul airlines engine time , I would say via versa would say US to Europe Dubai - Africa - India - Asia Pacific etc . Small number internal US none from UK to Europe as far as I’m aware .
Red_inky, 'But Rolls-Royce engines do not go from UK to Portugal'
I am a new investor in RR with a small holding at 103.8p. Can you tell me which routes/airlines are the most profitable for RR revenue streams? Thanks in advance. LTH. GLA.
Sell off 107-103
What sell off?
Yes pain starting to ease been a nightmare , have to sleep sitting upright and 9/10 pain constant ... but yes pain starting to ease still can’t move it
The bang = sell off
Sure your right on that one red inky about flights to Portugal thinking about the future sure read somewhere rr are looking at a single isle engine .heard anything anyone only a new investor in rr.iam seeing what price monday brings primed to buy for lt av 102.58 now on my shares also have fund and share rr av 109 hope your pain is easing
What was the Bang?
Did cross my mind the dump was going to happen I even posted that . I just thought surely not its going to continue to climb then BANG! Dumped I should follow my own advise next time
Average Daily Volume on RR last 30 days is 33m ish
Mon late trade was 11m
Friday late trade was 1m
While both large sell, Monday was the market mover.
If it opens 103 we are going to see sub £1 that’s why I was hoping we were at 107 the difference is that. I just wanted to know if the drop was real on Google ? I do remember the opposite happening back in oct/nov it looked to close at 1.14 or something g like that then Google suddenly changed to 1.22 last minute spike . In the morning it was still 1.14 and Google was incorrect
I forgot to say, just google it if you don’t believe me. Ha Ha.
Googles price always has the last trade price which could be a buy or sell. This doesn’t mean that the share price will open as this on Monday as the actual share price is an average between the buy and sell price.
Rycey didn’t seem to listen to google ?
They had plenty of time to sell off ate the close but didn’t
Positive sentiment changes the narrative.
But Rolls-Royce engines do not go from UK to Portugal
