and today, it opened at 110, and dropped to 108.2....so I wasn't far off.

Think you might find it in there CW working off the phone at the mo.So jot had a chance to scan through it for costs
Just sifted through the threads back to yesterday. Botbot gave the exchange of ryceys yesterdayās close at 1.73 @ 1.45 = 1.19. This morning the market opened at 118.63.
So botbot was pretty bang on with that. But I do know that that hasnāt always been right over the last few weeks.
CW think JP morgan chuck a bit on top of the price for holding and selling them over the counter.
As I said
I have no idea
For some unknown reason Carnival is even worse.
At 12pm EST TODAY CARNIVAL US was $25.91. UK Carnival close was Ā£15.82. So same time.. which would make that exchange rate 1.637...!!!
But I used to trade Carnival and it was always about 1.45.... which is why Iāve continued to use 1.45.
If you took that same for RR and RYCEY at 5pm/12pm EST. The rate would be 1.433
So for me... I will continue with 1.45... :-)
I quite like using botbots budget rate though said it opens any higher then mentally in happier :)
All these numbers lol. So one uses the budget rate at 1.45. Cw is using google?
So is there an actual rate that should be used. Current rate at us close? Sorry if I sound stupid but obviously thereās a very big difference between the 2.
Iāve always just googled the exchange rate after close.
Very valid point botbot. Crazy to think about that actually.
Close at 1.59 = 108.9
Well.... letās see
Itās really about time this properly took off though.
I canāt believe that Cineworld has increased x4 in 4 months. Itās just incredible noting that nobody has gone to the cinema .... but planes are at least still flying and ships etc are still being built and defence spending is still happening...
No Iām in 12,000 shares long term been in before RI . US is 7% down will hit us hard in the morning. I hope Iām wrong I really do.
He wants in cheaper to day trade I expect!
Red inky how are you coming to that conclusion.
Red inky... 1.04 open seem pretty steep. Is this on trade gate or your prediction?
If rolls Royce shares keep goes up and down ,they will loose a lot . They just need to move up quick and stop short sellers . If they donāt take action than they will never recover .
Unfortunately they do just take a look at both shares patterns over the days / months / years .
Yes didnāt see that coming , looks to open tomorrow around 1.04 then drop around Ā£1 , if it has a bad week I canāt see it going below 92p very strong at 92. Will recover as long as vaccine keeps rolling well globally
I donāt know āofficiallyā what is the right rate but I always use 1.45/1.00. It seems to be thee ābudget rateā.
I thought it was 1.15 last time I looked. I just type in the rate on google for the latest exchange rate. Or should I be using another rate?
RYCEY recovering.
Equivalent now to 111p for RR.
Letās see.!
rr101 - Yes tailwind strength in Ā£/$
Ryceys price is still 1.15 in uk money though.
1212 - In a bit off a tailspin, rotation due to turbulence in Nasdaq tech re-testing levels here 12800 below the '13000' strike line a close below here today could signal a larger pullback IMO
Wow getting hammered ??
Unfortunately RYCEY also caught up in the massive US ReRate today..
