@lockedandloaded - Yeah totally agree - I've pushed this in a few places (and have a couple more places) - this is an excellent feather in the bow to help keep levels low as we come out of lockdown.
As more places open up (pubs, bars etc) these come into their own to help protect both customers and staff as the risks increase etc. Not a silver bullet - but a great tool to help keep people protected.
Also agree r.e constructive discussions - plenty of people have valid points and opinions are always welcome IMO. Tend not to filter people as counter arguments can often be useful to see!
Just my opinion, DYOR
Now all RMS have to do is lobby the government to enable any business to open if all their employees and customers are wearing our masks.....never going to happen.
Only then will Mr Bannatyne be interested in introducing the masks to his clubs.
Again people will grasp on to any straw on this BB.
The plain & simple fundamentals of this all that I find ironic, is that our Mask actually does what is needed, whereas all other masks worn by the general population & most in healthcare do not kill viruses (Covid, Coronaviris, Influenza and many others), but they wear them anyway. These masks (or at the very least the nano particle ink copper layer) are the future!
Andipie, yes that’s fair enough, that’s the whole point of the board to me, constructive discussion and making aware new developments that others may have missed etc.
We all know the potential of this mask, I’m afraid I’m very keen on pushing for awareness on this product. Not in itself as the silver bullet but alongside vaccines, testing and even filtration if it gets going!!
Businesses are still suffering when we have technology out there now to get stability and normality on a better footing. Also a definite decrease in risk of further waves if the government utilise fully all the tools available!
Lockedandloaded - yeah I get where you're coming from. Just not sure this is THE product to allow mass gatherings safely and in isolation. Added to any existing plans/measures to reopen stadiums (for example) then the mask does help reduce the spread of covid. But not all on it's own.
Please don't take these posts as deramping - just saying that there is a clear benefit to the masks (thats scientifically backed too) BUT pushing it as "the way out of this mess" isn't the right thing to be doing.
Just my opinion, DYOR.
This is the tweet from us! Good to see they are using leads.

Bannantyne I mean not Bannister
Andipie, I disagree with your comments ref not a way out. These would contribute immensely as a way out of the current mess alongside vaccines and testing. If they get me entry to a football match where I can see a game and come out protected with no virus. That’s a no brainer!! 99.99% effective? How effective is your vaccine and booster? That’s if your next in the que for that.
The driving force does need to come from the government and health department, bannister was spot on there.
The government fave been on the backfoot as far as test and t race, ppe etc because they're hoping a vaccin e(s) Is going to get them out of a financial hole. I also notice that matt handjob 's cronies have been awarded some very lucrative COVID related contracts.A lot of palms being greased at the moment and at thestart of this farce.
''The government are not going to endorse this mask and allow businesses to open on the basis of these being in use. It just isn't going to happen''.
The US and European Gov's will buy this this before the UK Gov acts....., they are more delayed reaction then proactive.... however, just wait 2 weeks after when the schools go back...., lets see where we are then.... Good web site for the masks.

@Lp160606
He said, DV said 'get the Government to open the gyms up' then they will buy the masks, not that he won't buy them.
LP I have to agree sadly the UK gov dont give 2 sh.ts about this product that's clear to see or they would have been all over it . Think its commendable how hard everyone is trying to push this along but really shouldn't be down to shareholders.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks these masks should be plastered over adverts in papers , magazines and TV!
I must he crazy as considering buying more just wish I knew if the drop is going to continue back to lower levels .This share gives me nightmares!
Nonpoing selling at a loss as they say holding on for the Voltz update
@LP - exactly.
There are plenty of use cases for these masks (certainly above others on the market) but they're not a way out of this. Still think they could play a big role as lockdowns ease - helping reduce spread etc as much as possible - but they're not THE silver bullet.
Anyone currently using a disposable mask (and even some crappy re-usable ones) could be better served with one of these.
Just my opinion, DYOR.
He has literally said get the CMO to authorise them and we will buy... So basically they will not be buying.
The government are not going to endorse this mask and allow businesses to open on the basis of these being in use. It just isn't going to happen.
Especially as we now have an exit strategy..
It does need to work the "other way" though like he said. Businesses shouldn't be the ones chasing the gov to change their rules based on someone elses product. Not sure this is a good way to drive sales.
I do agree it's a good product for businesses to give to their employees to help reduce the spread (and protect the public) - but it has it's place. Like LFTs, masks are a means to an end to help keep people protected - but they work as part of wider measures. On their own they don't "end a lockdown" - they contribute to the collective efforts to keep spread reduced.
You wouldn't suddenly remove all social distancing because people have an anti viral mask (same for a negative LFT) - but as measures are reduced the masks play a role in keeping people safe.
Raising awareness of the product is good - but telling people who maybe potential buyers to "get on
Just my opinion. DYOR

This is the sort of market we could generate a huge volume of sales from and he has a vested interest :-)
