We've just had a massive pullback, how much more do you want lol.
Thanks for the info Lauren. I'll certainly be increasing my holdings on any pullbacks as I'm quite sure you intend doing also. Have a lovely evening.
If copper falls 50% tomorrow no impact to us we still get 34% per kg than last year.
Lets face it weve just had the lowest quarter for production we will ever have. Gift at this price.
Here is a little secret.....ssssh don't tell anyone. This is top strategy stuff.
Options:
> 1&2 - you have faith and you hold our buy more.
> 3 - you don't believe and you sell.
Thank me later.... :)
Personally I believe the company will progress and most likely with minimal dilution from this point. Even if we do do another raise we're valued as an explorer, but without the years of non revenue generating dilution ahead of us.
Anyway each to their own. Atb
No problem anyone expressing there concerns, this is a chat room after all........
Emotions higher right now as we’ve entered into a small period of uncertainty. But let’s be honest 99% of stocks go through some turbulence.
Once again it’s worth looking at your views on copper prices, if you believe in the green revolution, then honestly don’t feel there is anything to worry about. Either way I wish you all best here and in all your other investments.
Beg to differ. Just do the sums.
Lol....
Antharry , I did say rmm was the best stock in my portfolio...
This was prior to the financing options bombshell....
I still hold 40 m shares and live in hope...
That doesn't mean that I'm not going to express my concerns...
That doesn't sound an totally implausible thesis in the short term, but do you see any way this stock doesn't achieve say, 0.65 by Christmas?
Market makers do not want to hold stock....they want a flat book at the end of each day, and this is normally catered for in the end of day auction......
Until the mm's have sold all of the stock they hold , they will hold the price down...
The above is a normal situation..
What is wrong with rmm is the statement that financing options are being considered..
The board of rmm and their advisors will know that that statement is a bombshell statement......it creates fear, doubt and uncertainty...
They have known for some time that they need to consider financing options, and that is all that they can say about it ...not good enough...
Rerating the stock by 100 for one new share makes the stock more easily sold and does feel like part of a plan to sell new equity...
Interest in little deer....sounds interesting but interest doesn't generate cash.....feels like a smokescreen to me...
I'm afraid this stock isn't going to recover until we have certainty about financing options...
Wow..... its like "live at the Apollo" forget investing in shares, some of you should be on stage with some of those cracking posts.
But seriously if you cant see the current undervalue and obvious upside of RMM (with a little patient) then you shouldn't be buying shares in RMM... have a great evening...
Mu345.....additional finance is insignificant (you say)....I don't think so, that's why we're 20 % down....!!
steve4077...I don't think you understand how mm's work...
Every sell is not a buy...mm's have to take stock at the packet size for a stock..
mm's want a clean book at the end of every day if possible and certainly at the end of a week...that's why there's an auction at the end of the day to try and balance the books..
So they will currently have a lot of stock on their hands at moment..
They hold the price down to make it more easy to sell and to discourage any more sellers..
> A lot of stock was sold on thursday/friday...
> So the market makers are holding a lot of stock..
> They will have the price pegged at 42 until they off load this stock...
Hmm where do I start? First, every sell is also a buy so whatever price you think is a good price to sell, someone else thinks it is a good price to buy, even if that buyer is a market maker.
Second, the buy trade volume seemed to outnumber the sells, so if you could supply the data you used to conclude the MMs are holding a lot of stock, I would be very happy to see it.
Thirdly, if the MMs really are holding stock, why would they hold the price down while they sold it?
“Doesn't the revelation that interest has been shown in Little Deer , feel like a smoke screen?.”
Revelation? Not sure I’d say it was a revelation for a “number of unsolicited offers” when copper has just broke the ATH. Never been a better time RMM to conduct a JV. As a shareholder I’d expect to be made aware of this so wouldn’t class it as a “smoke screen” either.
“Is the 100/1 rerate part of an equity fund raising plan ?......“
International banking institutions often require the reorganising of shares in issue prior to any potential funding facility. “ The Directors consider that having a more manageable number of shares in issue post Consolidation is in the best interests of the Company and will better allow it to progress its future growth and development objectives.”
The financing is a short term matter. There are multiple options available. Given the future prospects of the fully developed, operational mine(s). I’d expect many suitors are available to provide funds on very competitive terms. It may be that it’s a combination of options.
Most importantly, it’s about achieving the fully operational mine as soon as possible, particularly prior to 2022 when copper will be no longer sold at the hedged $7,700/t. Additional finance to make that happen is very insignificant in the scheme of things.
Friday # of Trades 1,808
Vol. Sold 484,328,515. Sold Value £2m
Vol. Bought 623,798,993 Bought Value £3m
A lot of stock was sold on thursday/friday...
So the market makers are holding a lot of stock..
They will have the price pegged at 42 until they off load this stock...
Once the surplus stock is sold the price will move north....
However ,until the company explains what it means by financing options then there may be fewer buyers...
The need to explore financing options didn't just happen last Thursday, did it!.....
Doesn't the revelation that interest has been shown in Little Deer , feel like a smoke screen?.
Is the 100/1 rerate part of an equity fund raising plan ?......
We will see, but it sounds negative to me, purely because the need to explore financing options will have been known for some time, and the rns had nothing to say about it...
