Rambler Metals and Mining Plc
Annual Report and Audited Financial Statements
For the Year Ended 31 December 2020
Pg 21
'As the copper price started to recover at the end of 2020, the Company entered into a copper forward sale contract to hedge 3,600 tonnes of copper production at $7,700 per tonne in 2021 to protect the operating cash flow from any unexpected decrease in copper price in 2021.'
NOTE: 'the Company entered into a copper FORWARD SALE CONTRACT'
Definition of forward sale contract: In finance, a forward contract or simply a forward is a non-standardized contract between two parties to buy or sell an asset at a specified future time at a price agreed on at the time of conclusion of the contract, making it a type of derivative instrument.
It's basically a futures contract by another name. Same definitions.
Like I say it's all semantics anyway.
As Cornish etc have also pointed out it's a big IF that RMM won't meet the hedged tonnage and in the recent meeting RMM remained confident of hitting it, despite managing through the challenges so far, that inevitably happen.
No need to be so personal Peter and if you're so sure you're right on everything, why even ask on a board in the first place.
I've seen no contribution here from you to be honest so your comments seem a bit rich! All the best to you.
So all of u block people asking questions. Then u green box them.. Really bad investors. That don't help people with honest question
Peterdee is Green boxed
Peterdee is either;
1) An idiot who wouldn't hold down a job trading oil, as he/they repeatedly choose to misrepresent the hedge position and ignore the facts when pointed out
2) Is deramping by willfully misunderstanding and misrepresenting Ramblers RNS's statements
3) Presenting mis-information as fact
4) Claims the company should be more open when they clearly havent attended any of the zoom meetings
Unfortunately yet another troll looking to line their own pocket as the other trolls have been outed.
Yet another one for the 'Green Box'.
