"Most companies trading below NAV are trading there for a reason"
Indeed GenerationZKid. This is cheap for a reason. I have reduced my holding here but I'm going to stay invested in the hope that an agreement with the CWU can be reached and that the business can remain not just profitable but grow. At this moment in time the only thing growing at RMG is the operational costs. This can’t last forever and there will come a sink or swim moment for RMG and its employees. I hope this works out for the posties as they generally work hard and deserve good working conditions however its clear to see that the gig economy and other factors are all slowly eroding away at RMG's profits and the market is effectively betting against RMG. The market is usually correct in my experience so the price offered is probably fair given the circumstances.
Someone needs to read the 4 Pillars Agreement!!!!!
@generation Show me anywhere where the CWU do not support technology? When have the CWU ever walked about the use or introduction of new technology? We will never ever be a parcels company, we cannot be because we are the only company that have to deliver letters from all over the world 6 days a week to every single household in the Kingdom. We are never going to have a level playing field against any company consider are our competitors as the do not have the same baggage as us. The CWU are fully aware of the declining letter volumes please give me an example which specifically shows the CWU are as you call it burying their heads in the sand? So I look forward to your response.
@Oli very good point. So @Gen define Compromise and ethical if you would
GZK, you 08:05 post today states "They simply cannot compete with DPD and the other gig economy companies........Plus, it is not an ethical company to invest in".
They can't compete with gig economy companies (with their rubbish terms and conditions) because they ARE an ethical company. Why is RM not an ethical company in your opinion?
What a hypocrite the biggest Troll on here gives his opinion PMSL !
