I hear the same BS all the time!
All I care about is will this share be significantly higher next year? Answer = Yes
There’s stocks already which have bounced back which appeared had no given right to and plums on forums did a great job of costing others money.
Someone seems defensive.
The people that bought between £9-10 are quite happy i think.
All those years of experience eh?
Hi char333, I did also mention lth will be well rewarded. I also don’t see interest rates rising in the future, therefore for me, holding for the next 10 years, collecting the divi and the increase in share price over this term is a no brainer.
Sorry to dispel the myth, but I have no intention of trying to send S P UP OR DOWN.i have zero power there. But what I deal in is the reality. Though few can hack that on here. The most important word in your post is the word, ONCE. This got to approximately £26 50 with dividend of 47¢ last year. So now dividend is slashed SP will mirror that.the dividend will take many years of big growth in profits. So your once will be a mighty long time in coming imo. People buying now may make money as short term profits. But anyone waiting for £18 & way above & restored dividend, well covid will be something your kids tell their kids about by then. A analyst on CNBC said, yes don't laugh, it's better to have a strong balance sheet than a big dividend paid by debt. And the profits will drive the SP up. Yes I agree mildly. But whatever way you look at shell it will always be judge on previous dividend & share price above £20. As I said to Catlin was it, no £19 anytime soon & that other poster who said £20 in 9 months. No chance of either. Be as positive as you wish, but your just in denial. Maybe I'll be proved wrong. But the only way £19 & £20 is achievable in the next year is a takeover or merger. Anything is is just pie in the sky.
Ohh be careful, they dont like positive posts on this here bb.
But yes i agree with you.
A lot are trying to keep the price low( but they don't realise posts on here make no difference at all).
But dont tell anyone....
If shell has reduced its divi in relation to its pre Covid divi, then once shells sp moves back up, shell will surely increase its divi to keep the correlation and shareholders happy. Therefore buyers at this sp, and intent on being long term holders are going to be well rewarded.
