Thee offer is still 4p but the last buy had to pay 4.20p, just before there was 2 x 500k buys
14:09:43 - 4.20 -- 130,000
Looking much better this afternoon as the last 7 trades are all buys
and the total is Buys ..1,414,668 Sales ...687,600
Not much is going on today, partly because the MMs are holding the spread so large, other coz its Friday and some decided to take advantage of the recent rise. I am still holding on.
But I look at the Indicators and some of my recent buy ( a few weeks) were reaching Overbought territory so I cleaned up 3 of them during the morning, JOG, BARC and SOLG, naturally taking advantage of the recent rise including today.
That gives me room for another lookout for oversold stocks and add and play with them.
I must say none of them give me £1,000 profit, but when I added them together it was well over that.
--------------
and I just saw a 200K buy at full 4p ..... 12:05:46 4.0 200,000
good luck investors
Take it easy "Banburyboy", there are always new ones coming along
--------------
The 500K buyer is back in the market, taking some of the profit taking ones
11:01:32 3.90p 500,000
Tickled by your posts, Banbury, as always. (Perhaps mine are a bit too nuanced ?)
P.S. "How much are you down?" Not at all, I'm riding the ramp. :-)
"there was 2 x750K @ 3.175, not one"
Yes, Master, that is what the use of the term "second" implies. Having trouble reading?
To be fair RSI I did look at your history and how selective you were and the JOG rise today which you called stood out.
My weakness is emotional attachment and holding to long.
I hold HBR and I thinks it's been up and down between 225 and 250 ten times this year 100% gain.
I might set aside a few k and see how I get on.
Definitely be looking out for your posts

re - Just being nosy but how do you select what you follow ?
You do want me to spill the beans don't you?
It easy peasy though not everyone is able to get it right, not even me sometimes because one can be too anxious and most likely needs to wait a bit more.
1 - look for an undervalued stock
2 - the charting is correct oversold, MACD RSI, Stochastic, ( another matter)
3 - look for volume
4 - with not too much debt, but is OK if Assets cover them
5 - Being profitable helps but one can take chances
6 - Timing is very important ( I am lucky about that ) it cuts the time holding the stock
7 - Take notice that It never risers in a straight line, when it does move up
8 - and after a large rise there is always some retracement
-------------
Though some posters think I am ramping, for over 20 years I have a thread ( open every month ) where I am trying to tell movements of shares for free. RBG is in this month's selection, as is JOG with a 13% rise today
Good start to the day with a number of buys already
Paying close to full offer 4p
and well over the bid on the selling
I can sell 140000 at 3.73 on Hargreaves landsdow highest yet so looks like interest continues
MasterRSI - thanks for the information really interesting.
I had a peek at your other posting and you only have a select few shares.
Just being nosy but how do you select what you follow ?
3.75p +0.40p (11.94%)
Moving into a bullish trend

Re - "He's called the turn here twice and he's a trader not an investor."
Well, it is true twice have been very good so far, but I do not consider myself a trader, because I do not sale the same day/ week. But when I consider the % up is good enough to take the profits.
One has to consider that the country or the rest of the World has hardly any growth at the moment, for that reason profits/EPS will hardly move much also. So any good rise in any share price one has to take advantage of it, because most likely will retrace, as it always do.
We will have to wait for certificates under the mattress, though I do have a few down there, for the World to recover from those bad times at the moment.

re - tomorrow
Well if you were in Spain apart from it rains in the plains, tomorrow never comes.
But taking about RBG, they say Volume and rising is BULLISH, so tomorrow should see another movement up.
So MasterRSI
I brought in 135000 at 3.17 average. I have a lot less at an average of 5.8. I'm into fundamentals and this wont go bust so limited downside . But it's also treding water re curtailed CAP ex and very slow reduction in net debt. Good recovery play.
Does your chart tell you anything about tommorrow ?
Your sentiment on Nicname was bang on the money
And to finish it off, a delay buy trade 500K, with volume of 6.24M almost double yesterday one after already being higher
17:24:49 - 3.875p - 500,000
chart with volume http://uk.advfn.com/p.php?pid=staticchart&s=L%5ERBG&width=600&height=205&p=1&t=1&dm=2&vol=1&cb=
Large buying trades are pouring in at the moment price has moved on the offer to 3.90p
2x150K
2x250K
137K
and another 250K now 4p
This is crazy. Something is going on. Imo. Someone is accumulating. The trades are massive compared to a normal day. Gla
Be very lucky if you get in befor 4p is hit at this rate. Will the buying continue this afternoon.
Nicname dont be a toss**. He's called the turn here twice and he's a trader not an investor.
What insight do you bring ? Bet your really miffed he's so right this time poor call by you Nicname.
Agreed. But I think slightly more than 25 mill will seal the deal.
With hospitality stocks bombed out like Restaurant Group and City Pubs takeovers are inevitable. RBG is no exception and with the sp at bargain basement levels despite current trading looking strong, a T/O will come sooner rather than later IMHO.
GLA
I own City Pubs and I see a take over here. Remember the instits turned down 100p bid here a few years ago. They will not get anything like that now of course....more like 8 to 10p. The peach pubs are doing well, Xmas bookings are well up, The company would accept a takeover now from a bigger group with better funding. So long as the company can get more banking facilities. Easier now with inflation down and pay up. This is risky of course but its a very decent punt I reckon.
Yep to be honest I bought these at 4 p a couple of years ago and sold at 8p. Only to watch it climb further. I never thought it would be this price again. And Christmas bookings up 27%. And that was a while ago.
