Genghis15.......West Newton failure cannot be made up by what is being produced elsewhere. The Rampers on here will soon find that out when the annuals are published next month. I have a feeling that the 2 directors salaries alone will hardly cover the profits from California. That's excluding the capital costs that have to be included. I feel that that RBD's accountants will be working overtime on 'creative accounting'.
But will they take a cut in the £600K annual salaries. Let's see.
Perhaps you should spend a bit more time looking at the Victory gas discovery Genghis, and it's implications for Corallian, and therefore for Reabold. Only if you are genuinely interested, of course. If you just want to carry on knocking the company for whatever reason, go ahead. But expect an argument if you do.
I will point one thing out though. You seem to suggest that if West Newton failed (which personally I think is laughable), that there would be such a devastating loss of money that the other assets couldn't cover them. This is simply a distortion of the situation. In effect the cash has been raised and allocated for all of the projects, including West Newton. And there is no debt. The market cap currently constitutes an amount for the value of West Newton. Since the market cap is only £60m, it can't be much. The other assets, however much the likes of persimmon rubbishes them, have considerable value, and the cash balance is very healthy.
So considering the other assets, the cash balance and the fact that the presence of shlt loads of oil and gas have been proven to be present at West Newton, and gas AND oil have been proven to flow, it is risible to suggest that West Newton could break the company.
Selfish, just look at scale. And don't put words in my mouth. The amount invested in WN has to work, if it were to fail the others in the PF cannot possibly compensate. We can argue all night over wordings, the point is, for anybody's investment to come good here, WN has to work.
I'm hoping they said it's a maker for the company and bigger than we had ever hoped for!!
So are you saying it was 'Stephen' who said West Newton was make or break for Reabold, Genghis? If you're going to make dumb statements, back them up. FWIW I have spoken to several of the key personnel at West Newton, regularly, (but I won't name them because that's pretty poor), and one thing they are NOT saying, is it is make or break for the company.
Selfish
Yes, I agree, dumb of me to post on here thinking I would not get the dumb ad hominem remarks that clog up the BB daily. Just fyi, i doubt I need more research, having been here for years, after seeing them present at Oilbarrel and talking to Stephen afterwards.
Please feel free to carry on without me.
persimmon
Is oil being poured over them or did you mean ‘pored’? Education eh?
deermule....If I read you correctly what you are basically saying is that even if West Newton is not a commercial success, then you will still stay with RBD. I think that position is not one that will appeal to most investors. But perhaps I am wrong in my thinking here. California is a 'shrinking violet' under the Biden administration. Onerous clean up expenses are being loaded onto companies wishing to drill there. Perhaps RBD know this and is the reason why Reabold California was born. The upcoming annual results will almost certainly be a 'jam tomorrow' exercise, the wording of which will be poured over many times before release. I look forward to it. Expect more exploratory drills at W.N on the agenda.
Sorry mean't to say if WN is not as big as is thought.
Persi is just trying to scaremonger and put off investors.
This company is massively undervalued period.
Perci was saying WN is make or break, that is far from the truth.
WN is the crown jewels it looks like ATM.
However Cali will be a big money spinner , Parta is huge and Victory looks an excellent prospect , so don't get sucked in, if WN is as big as is thought the company will still grow, just at a much slower rate.
Goofed again, I agree, hear hear or should it be there there lol ....ffs, education is a wonderful thing really!
But what he (Genghis) said could be true. And he backed the company's actions and even had a go at your good friend Percy. Still he must have forgotten that you can't say anything on here that may even very very slightly go against the positive message. Maybe he should be 'cancelled' like the snowflakes do to people in the Universitys when they don't agree with them. Jeez, you couldn't make it up.
Here here Rubey. Too many BB arm chair CEOs is the problem.
That's why they've stuck 100's of thousands of pounds in. Bleeding obvious.
I'm sorry if you think my reply immature goofedagain, but when dealing with halfwits I like to keep language simple.
S&S have more business acumen in their bogies than you, your good mate Genghis or persimmon have put together. They know exactly what the situation is regarding West Newton, and you, whether or not you are tree huggers, shorters or genuine shareholders, really haven't got the faintest idea.
Very mature reply as usual Rubey. Whether right or wrong most people probably do think WN is make or break for RBD, especially when it comes to the share price. BTW I'm not a shorter but I do like trees and spent many a happy day as a kid climbing up them.
I have serious doubts about the integrity of someone who suggests that persimmon may be right about anything. Shareholders know the bloke is full of shlt, and the only posters who tend to agree with him are tree huggers or shorters.
'This constant to and fro is dumb.'
So, by joining in with it, I take it you are admitting to being dumb as well Genghis.
Sounds like you need to do a bit more research. Are you sure Reabold will go tits up if West Newton isn't commercial, or is your definition of 'make or break' different to most other people's?
"You are the only person who thinks that"
No, he's not.
This constant to and fro is dumb.
OC Wn is make or break, they've thrown the kitchen sink at it ; a more balanced portfolio would have spread investment more widely.
Clearly they are very confident that WN is the company maker, and it certainly looks odds on to be so. So they have doubled down a couple times, sensibly imv tho of course we= don't have the facts they do.
But they have tobe right.......and geology can play tricks, so nailed on it is not. Just cos you find persi irritating (he is, often) doesn't mean he is wrong.
Yep that seems to have been a consistent daily theme for yonks now Krull. Bet someone's doing alright out of it. Unfortunately it ain't me!
As for WN 'proven success' I'll call it that when we're making money out of it either by way of profitable production or a favourable sell off. Not until.
Looks like folk are jumping between RBD and UJO, when one goes up the other goes down
Can't see his posting make or break my ar*e.
Jerk !
WN is far from a proven success. What production rate could it achieve? Nobody knows the answer to that, so CAPEX is not know and projected revenue is not known. Therefore, the asset is by no means proven.
'West Newton is widely seen as the 'make or break' of Reabold Resources'
Widely seen? You are the only person who thinks that persimmon. It's already proven to be a success. The only uncertainty is just how big that success is.
I am minded to believe that there will be another Acquisition in the near future, perhaps even two.
West Newton is widely seen as the 'make or break' of Reabold Resources.
Whilst a very successful outcome as W.N will be transformational for investors, the dynamic duo know that just in case it is not, then they will need other irons in the fire to keep the pot simmering if not boiling.
OMO but await as always the negative response from the self congratulatory back slappers.
