Interesting Selfish, our CEO's are respected in the city as being the best deal makers around ? I would love to see proof of that.
I have held shares here for years & follow all posts, presentations etc. I am not a geo but as a lth I reserve the right to vent my spleen about the management if I choose to. I have in the past stated that I would congratulate them if they can bring home the bacon. The jury is still out on that without question.
In defence of GP I remember RBD stating oil saturated core which appears to have been completely misleading.
Lastly I would ask you to desist from refering to me as a persimmon alt. Proove it or shut it.
Hope the porridge has been poisoned
remember this watts.........lol...credibility shot through now. Bank of Monopoly?
Watts 09 Feb 2021
" Gas and oil are appreciably higher in price and climbing. I'm just waiting to hear how RBD are going to take it all to the
bank"
Is this the limit of your day, you sad, sad individual? Sitting in Wormwood Scrubs writing this dross, day after day
to earn the price of a pint.
"rather unsubstantiated ignorant opinions/lies like your own".
Selfish, you just posted the above.............I rest my case!
I have no problem with people posting genuine, honest opinions on here. You're right, that's what they're for. But as I said, 'I find copying and pasting FACTS to be the best way to provide accurate information to shareholders, rather unsubstantiated ignorant opinions/lies like your own'.
That's quite different to what you are accusing me of. But then, what else would anyone expect from you.
I thought that posting opinions on boards like this was what they are mainly for. An exchange of views where the poster states where he/she believes the company is heading, and the reasons why.
Your response to anyone, especially someone with an alternative view to your own is very often just to call them an idiot.
If I was to say that there is a chance that West Newton could be commercial success would that assuage your feeling towards me, and if not why not?
I don't pretend to be a geologist, persimmon, unlike some on here. But I find copying and pasting FACTS to be the best way to provide accurate information to shareholders, rather unsubstantiated ignorant opinions/lies like your own.
It's funny how the ones who complain about copying and pasting are the ones who like to keep the truth off the bulletin boards.
Tut tut. Your diction really does need improvement Selfish, although not altogether unsurprising given your adherence to copying and pasting.
Idiot persimmon. Take the afternoon off and go and see your therapist. You seem to be having a relapse after your month ban.
Selfish, some people could be forgiven for believing you actually understand what you post, until they realise you are just copying and pasting. Best refrain from the BS laddie, otherwise your already accepted failure to credit yourself with oil and gas exploration knowledge will fall even further into disrepute (if that's possible).
FYI.
The Cadeby limestone succession originally developed as a series of reefs and ooidal shoals along the western shoreline of the highly saline late Permian Zechstein sea which extended from eastern England into Poland (Smith, 1970, 1989).
Watts / Selfish. Just because I don't rate S&S doesn't mean there's not a trading opportunity here. I'm hoping the RPS CPR will look good when it comes out, and I'm sure they will all be doing their best - in that direction anyway.
Haha. Very true Watts.
Think you've finished him off SMN, hopefully he'll go back to reading 'Journey to the Centre of the Earth'.
GP, you seem to be trying to dodge the issue. You stated that Reabold claimed that the Cadeby formation was a reef, contrary to what Rathlin and Union Jack have stated. I showed you that it was Rathlin who stated it, but you have now tried to sidestep, rather than accept you were using a lie to backup your criticism of Reabold, ably assisted by that halfwit persimmon.
Rathlin stated it first - I've seen the documentation from BEFORE Reabold became JV partners.
Maybe you'll withdraw your accusation against the Reabold CEOs.
You really know it' time to quit, when the troll tries to come to your rescue.
G.P......the trouble with liars, as you have now found them out, is that they need an excellent memory.
Looking forward to the squirming that is coming down the line from them. Many problems coming to a head all at the same time. Expect a completely new 'asset' to be produced soon to throw sycophantic disciples like SelfishMcNimby and the 'side by side' gunslinger from Wales into a state of delirium.
No doubt you'll start up on rock porosity next. I've yet to read something credible from you. You have even
renegaded on a promise to quit this board. Why are you here?
The deeper objective was the Cadeby Formation, there is no "Cadeby Reef Formation" as such . They may have spudded the A2 well in the hope of also finding a Cadeby reef, but there was never one to find.
So who stated this, GP?
'The West Newton A-2 appraisal well, targeting the Kirkham Abbey Shoal and Cadeby Reef formations, was spud at 01:45am on Friday 26 April 2019.'
Rathlin
Selfish, I post on a few other AIM companies with the odd technical comment, but it's only Reabold's management that I'm so critical about, so I'm sorry if you think I'm an "eco-warrior". However, I do know something of our CEOs' reputation as I had only to ask some city contacts. I can't help being unimpressed by their performance, or by what's not happening at Parta, in California, nor much going on at WN. However, In their defence, I will say that WN is still in its early days, and has not been as protracted as Sea Lion. And it shouldn't be either because it's an onshore UK project, not one situated in a hostile marine environment in the Southern Atlantic. The WN-1 discovery well was drilled by Rathlin in 2013, but the successful appraisal well in which RBD Participated (WN-A2) was only drilled in 2019, and there have two other, somewhat inconclusive wells since then. So only 3 years have elapsed since we farmed in. But what really rankles (and I'm speaking as a former oil geologist here) is the silly fib we were told by RBD's management about the "Cadeby Reef" at WN. No such reef ever has ever been shown to exist anywhere on our licence, which I suppose may be why we haven't heard much about it lately. In their 17 June ’19 RNS about the A2 well, RBD's management said: "The well also encountered hydrocarbon shows within the secondary target Cadeby formation with an oil saturated core”. This was a load of tosh. The Cadeby wasn't cored in this well; it had been cored in the A1 well, but it didn't find a reef.. I know this is the case as the A1 well has been released.OK, I know this is ancient history now, but I feel it's symptomatic, especially when one looks at something where one has experience. It also strikes me as significant, or at least a bit odd, that neither UJO nor, I think, Rathlin have echoed what RBD said in the Cadeby Reef connection. Generally the two public comanies' RNSs have had much the same content with respect to WN.
GP, you used to make yourself look like an ex-geologist with experience of the petroleum industry. Over the years your true identity as just an ordinary eco-warrior has become more obvious, and your posts have changed from the technical, to those of personal management attacks.
You know nothing about the CEOs reputation in the City, but still have to have a personal dig at them. You say their persistence with Parta and California 'speaks for itself'. Nothing is happening with Parta, so persistence in what regard? Persistence in waiting? And California is surely concluded? So persistence in bringing deals to a conclusion?
Very shallow post, GP. Almost childlike - more like a persimmon or Uggy post tbh.
Mr Persimmon....you very conveniently ..forgot to mention one very big difference between the two projects...Sealion was/is basically all or nothing for Rockhopper ( apart from some minor Italian assets ) ... Victory is ahead off West Newton in the stage monetisation........Granted the outcome is not known at this stage apart from the fact there are negotiations with a buyer ...But then off course holding shares in any company involve risk ...If a shareholder cannot except the risk they are comfortable with they should just keep the money in the bank rather than having an ax to grind with everyone else !!....
Deja Vu. Ever heard of Rockhopper and the 'Sea Lion' project in the Falklands?
It commenced in 2010 and is still going strong today albeit Harbor Energy look now like pulling out.
I anticipate that West Newton will be Reabold Resources 'Sea Lion'. I wonder how many will be sucked into the same long term play that has seen those directors rake in millions whilst returning a big fat zero to shareholders.
I will say however like Rockhopper, there will most likely be handy profits to be made with a quick in and out policy.
Long term play is for the amateur.
