Correct certainly won't be a bargain if it doesn't succeed. Then again most companies that that rise tenfold or more always carry an element of risk. I agree though if nothing happens in the next month or two can't see it ever happening. The term transition fuels they like to use kind of means they need to get it used now....during the transition period!!!
FWIW, this link shows ownership as funds only. Normally they are split with Insti's. It shows as it was on 30th sep, so could do with an update, but as I don't subscribe to their service it may be more current for those that do.
Anyway, thought it may be of interest or useful.

AKHM it won't be a bargain if QFI never succeeds.
AKHM we need progress in the next month or so. QFI cant just let matter drift and drift there is no excuses. I been in QFI since 2011 and can resite the delaying tactics by QFI.
If they sell loads the share price drops and others have the opportunity to nail a bargain. You either support and belive in the company or not. If they don't then that is choice. Them selling won't affect quadrise ability to sign a contract in the next 6 months
for once I agree with you Hotfinance. Jason must see that punters including I.I. are now getting feed up with wall of silance from Jason, and if he does nothing about it more II will sell.
Edit £25k sell.
What this 325k sell does is highlight to Jason they are not as excited as him. I am sure they will sell more if the wall of silence continues.
It's early and haven't yet had my coffee but I'm afraid you're going to have to point out (i) where I said they traded a total of £25k (they crossed a reportable threshold and reported it) and (ii) where you explained why Canaccord are not an institutional investor.
Just to clear it up... Canaccord run the mandates for Marlborough UK Micro Cap and Marlborough Nano Cap Growth, who at 31 December 2021 held 60m and 13.3m shares in QFI respectively, and are, as sure as night follows day institutional investment funds. Canaccord's fund management team's life President is Giles Hargreave, arguably one of the UK greatest small cap investors of his generation and an institutional investor if ever there was one. Canaccord also run all the former Hargreave Hale mandates, also institutional investment funds, which they took over when Giles Hargreave sold his business to them a few years ago. Canaccord do have a wealth management arm, Cannacord Genuity Wealth Management, who deal with private clients and could be considered a "broker" of sorts.
Of course, Indigo knows all this because he "knows their funds" and "is sure"... I'd have probably let it go if it wasn't for the clown club comment, which was a tad unfriendly. :)
"An institutional investor is a company or organisation that invests money on behalf of clients or members.
Hedge funds, mutual funds, and endowments are examples of institutional investors."
What about their OEIC and UT mutual fund mandates excludes them from being "institutional investors"?
You sure?
Canaccord Genuity Fund Management manages several external investment management mandates including a range of Unit Trusts and OEIC’s for Marlborough Fund Managers, as well as the Hargreave Hale AIM VCT. These mandates are predominantly UK-driven, with a particular focus on the UK small-cap sector where the team has developed market-leading experience and expertise under the leadership of Richard Hallett.
Disclosure rules, whoever you were, used to be every 1% threshold crossed down to 3%.The rules may of changed.
With a bit of luck, Sue Gray will write a report??
So wait until then!!! LOL
On reflection, I think it may be reportable every time each % is breached over 3% or something like that so we may hear again if their holding falls below 4%. Someone who is more knowledgeable and enjoys tedious rules may be able to clarify!
My understanding is the disclosure has been made because their holding has crossed the reportable threshold, in this case 5%. It does not mean they only sold or are only going to sell £25k shares. It is not to say they aren't or won't continue to sell, though this will only become clear if and when they pass the next reportable threshold, which from memory is 3%, though someone may be able to confirm.
Indigo well done for poiting it out to me. So Canaccord is not an I.I. is that what you are saying just a broker.
“As a result of the placing, we now have two major institutional investors, Premier Miton and Canaccord Genuity that have major disclosable investments of approximately 9% and 5%, respectively,” Kirk noted.
Im not overly worried as like many will be using this as an opportunity to add over the next few months. I assume people just get confused when they are led to believe things are imminent and therfore expecting something and nothing arrives. I still think we may get 4-5 RNS in quick succession over the next couple of months.
According to the qfi investor page cannacord had 70.867 million shares, this has reduced to 69.458 million, a reduction of 1.3 million shares. barely worth it £25,000 quids worth
I don't think that this will make one iota of difference to how quickly we get a contract over the line. These take a long time (obviously :) ) as they are a massive commitment for the companies / public bodies involved. It's not the same as winning a 5 M building project which can be done in 3-6 months. we only heard from Jason 3 weeks ago so give the bloke and he new COO a bit if time. I am sure there will be news before Easter.
Yes I fully agree. Jason and Crew must understand as I said before we need action not words or Jam tomorrow. Punders and II are not stupid so maybe the RNS will get them moving now.
Probably exactly why they have done it. They have only offloaded 6 or 7% of their holding so nothing crazy but enough for the board to take notice. Maybe he will pick up the phone and give a few of his projects a rocket up them to get things rolling.
The Orns I think this RNS will give Jason a big nudge to get things rolling now dont you think.
It would explain the drop in price.
I had a awful feeling this would happen. II are getting fed up. Take Notice Jason.
